Huffington Post Idiot Calls For Military Coup In America

For Real...Blog Reaction Roundup!

Quote:

To be crystal clear - I am NOT advocating or inciting you to undertake any illegal act, insurrection, mutiny, putsch or military coup. You are an honorable patriotic man.

I am NOT advocating or inciting you to interfere with any of the civilian duties of the President. That would not be a legal action by you.

However you have the legal responsibility - under Article 134 of the Uniform Code Of Military Justice - to protect the troops under your command by relieving the President of his MILITARY command.

If you have reason to believe that the President is responsible for “disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces” and for “conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, and crimes and offenses not capital” then you have the obligation to act.

In addition to relieving him of his command as Commander-In-Chief, you also have authority to place the President under MILITARY arrest.

Wouldn't arresting the president interfere with his civilian duties? Just a little bit?

Couldn’t help but re-post this comment. It is not mine.

This whole thing is too ludicrous for comment.

Lewis clearly has no clue, whatsoever, about how things work.

The President, not being a member of the Armed Forces, simply isn’t subject to the UCMJ.

A little issue brought up, and resolved, when President Clinton’s lawyer suggested that as Commander in Chief, Clinton could invoke the Soldier’s and Sailor’s Civil Relief Act to protect him against Paula Jone’s lawsuit while he was in office.
END

ha ha ha

Are these people’s lives really so pathetic that they sit around in their basement and think about this stuff all the time???

Of all the people in all the country does this idiot really believe that he has found a hidden secret formula for getting rid of the president that nobody else has ever thought about?????

Good lord! I like listening to these people because they make me feel so sane and normal.

I would go ever to HP and read some of the asinine comments but I have to go turn my lawn sprinklers off.

Good luck with that HUFFPO. This military guy took an oath to protect against all enemies foreign and domestic. A lot of Democrats act like the domestic kind in my book. I wonder if I might ever get the order to seize Harry, Nancy, Hillary, and Barack on charges of treason, and aiding and abetting the enemy in a time of war. We all have our pipe dreams even if it will never come to pass.

The funniest thing about that is that the “author” of those words was probably trembling as he typed, thinking “I am about to commit this nation to taking a path no one has ever taken!” or somesuch hooey.

The President, not being a member of the Armed Forces, simply isn’t subject to the UCMJ. ........... Did he resign his USAFR/TANG comission? Clinton never served, he chose to avoid serving in the military. He may have been classified 4F due to his bad back problem, rumor has it, they couldn’t remove the yellow streak?

I doubt medical science has yet discovered a treatment for treason.

More mechanical methods are generally used.
