Maybe George Tenet's CIA should have focused on actively recruited intelligence assets instead of "actively recruiting homosexuals". Just a thought.

Lets not forget that CIA took orders from the likes of Sandy Berger (Burglar) and that this “report” smells like cover.

Its an attempt to get the blame off the White House (Clinton) for not giving attack orders when they had Osama in the crosshairs.

This is a 2008 election timed release of info in my opinion.

This is to help the Clinton campaign.

This can’t be true.

It was on Clinton’s watch and Billary was in charge.

Will she be reusing their old plan?

“Bill Clinton told the crowd his wife would make the strongest president among those seeking to succeed Bush in January 2009 because she has the best plans to deal with national security, climate change, health care and education”

Maybe people should not be such suckers. Bill Clinton spent more time with Monica then he ever did with Tenet. This is just more of the Democrat National Committees attempt to rehabilitate the Clinton legacy prior to Hillary 2008.

The buck stops with the President. Amazing how the same PC Media that wants to make Bush responsible for hurricanes and bridge collapses continually manufactures scapegoats for Clinton’s 8 years of grotesque incompetence.

Has either Bill or Hillary told us this “plan”? Or is it secret like John Kerry’s 2004 plan was?

Yet another article on the topic with no mention of the detrimental effect of the “Gorelick Wall” on our ability to interdict the enemy.

Almost as if it is being shoved down the memory hole.

"Sadly, the CIA's 9/11 accountability review serves as a sobering reminder that the Bush Administration policies for the past six years have failed to capture or kill Osama bin Laden," the West Virginia Democrat said.

Playing politics with National Security are we senator?

Notice how the story doesn't pinpoint the time-line of these failures to get Bin Laden. Wonder why?

It is Bush’s Fault!!!! Well, in this case it was for not getting rid of Tenet and a ton of the socialists that found their way into the CIA during Clinton’s administration and earlier.

[Its an attempt to get the blame off the White House]

The CIA was weak and ineffective under the Clinton administration because comrade Klinton was more interested in implementing “Don’t ask Don’t Tell” than he was in protecting the nation he was supposed to be leading.

.

Why did CLINTON refuse 3 Free offers from the Sudan during the 1990’s to give us our No. 1 terrorist enemy OSAMA bin LADEN on a silver platter before he could hit us real hard after CLINTON had already left office..?

For the same reason CLINTON actively supported our then No. 1 terrorist enemy North Vietnam Communist Dictator HO CHI MINH’s push to tak over a then Free South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

For...
...the Enemy is now within
...and always has been.

Clinton’s watch. Clinton’s responsibility. Simple.

I assume that goes without saying here on FR.

[detrimental effect of the “Gorelick Wall”]

Gorelick was also an advocate of “Don’t ask Don’t tell” when she was general counsel for the pentagon.

Absolutely spot on...
in fact, when I read:
‘Yet the review team led by Inspector General John Helgerson found neither a “single point of failure nor a silver bullet” that would have stopped the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. ‘
my first thought was Jimmuh Carter, one of our first enemies within, and certainly a major cheerleader for this generations terrorists. He couldn’t have done it better if he had been KGB!

God help us! Hillary's total care - socialism. All is left bread and milk lines for people to enjoy.

It sure went without saying in the article...correct me if I'm wrong, but did the words CLINTON ADMINISTRATION ever appear anywhere there?

Many with BDS, both the mild cases and the full blown, believe that terror did not exist prior to the current Bush Presidency. I don't believe those who consume the MSM versions are intelligent enough to "connect the dots" here.

Wow, the whole report was about CIA failures prior to 9/11 during the Clinton administration and all Rockefeller wants to talk about is the current administration’s failure to capture a marginalized Bin Laden who might already be dead.
