WASHINGTON (CNN) – Add another name to the list of political observers who think a Clinton-Obama ticket would be unbeatable: Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

In an editorial in Cuba's communist party newspaper, Granma, the ailing dictator said the pairing of the two White House hopefuls seemed "invincible," according to an English translation on the paper's Web site.

You know, twenty years ago, this would’ve been the death knell of both their campaigns; today, it’ll get them more votes from the nutroots and sheeple!

Probably. Cuba’s been trying to prop up that country with an imaginary leader. He’s probably been dead for months.

Maybe Lenin, Stalin and Mao can come out for a Hillary/Obama ticket. Nothing like the endorsement of dead communists to spur on a democrat’s campaign.

"Now why doesn't the RNC run with this?"

Because under the chairmanship of my illustrious senator, Senor Martinez, the RNC is just as dead as Fidel.

I hope some of you will join me in sending an email or forwarding this thread to the RNC headquarters along with an alarm clock and some jars of extra-hot jalepeno peppers to hopefully start some fire in their bellies.

The funny thing about that picture is, here’s the first sentence of the article:

“OF all the presidents of the United States, and those who aspire to that office, I only met one who, for ethical-religious reasons, was not an accomplice to the brutal terrorism against Cuba: James Carter”

Now why doesn’t the RNC run with this?

Because Herself, the Cold and Joyless, still has enough FBI files on various Republican luminaries to REALLY screw up the delicate balance that the Republican party is trying to walk in being the "nice" party, and get the MSM to love them.

The Republicans waste their moral capital, time and treasury trying to obtain something that never was and never shall be. Pull off the kid gloves, reveal to the public all that is known about HOW the Democraticans have messed with election after election, and use their talents to forestall future attempts to repeat the tinkering with results. Name names, indict the guilty, and present the case to the American public. The jury may come back hung, but it is important only to deny the opposition a majority.

It is the Reagan way.

Because it's run by idiots who think we'll win by playing nice. A cursory glance at the history of American politics would be enough to show otherwise.

If you had asked me a month ago, I would have agreed hillary is almost certain to win the presidency in 2008. Now, I am not so sure.

Her resume is that she’s Bill’s wife and “moved” to a state and won on her husband’s popularity there and the fact that her opponent became ill and had to drop out.

The problem is, can the GOP present a good, trustworthy, candidate that has a record to prove it? If the nomination goes to a RINO I doubt there will be enough enthusiasm.
