Muslim Sect Causes Stir In Walkersville (Maryland Town Resists Plan For 224 Acre Muslim Compound)

Muslim sect causes stir in Walkersville

Group buying farm for retreat; town considers zoning change

By Rona Marech

Sun reporter

August 30, 2007

WALKERSVILLE

This small town of shady porches and green fields saw its last murder in 1929. The mayor runs a feed and seed store, where on Monday nights he presides over a long-running dominoes game. Many people live here because their parents and grandparents lived here before them.

And they like things the way they are.

So, a Muslim group's plan to purchase 224 acres of farmland to use for an annual convention and other activities has created a stir - one of the biggest in decades.

Residents of the rural hamlet outside Frederick have been buzzing about the issue, talking about it at the post office, the grocery store and the handful of shops along the quiet main street. On Aug. 20, 300 townspeople showed up for a forum at which the president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA fielded questions about everything from his group's construction plans to his beliefs about terrorism.

Two days later, one of the town's five commissioners proposed a zoning amendment that would prohibit places of worship, schools and private clubs, among others, from building on land zoned for agriculture.

"People are very unrested," said Ralph Whitmore, the town burgess, or mayor. "People in Walkersville, and I include myself, we know what a great place it is to live and raise families and are always concerned about things that might change our quality of life."

The Ahmadiyya community has embarked on something of a public relations campaign, taking out ads in the local newspaper and initiating conversations with residents in hopes of assuaging fears.

People, even in blue states, will take a stand in their own back yard. It is easy to talk about being fair as long as someone else has to face the downside.

This is insanity. Obviously Americans don't have a clue of what they are up against.

I'd suggest the rest of you either learn the Quran or consider seceding from the Union. I'm not joking.

Maybe Americans don't realize it yet - I'm sure FReepers have not, but you have already passed the point of no return.

The only reason that the Peoples Republic of Maryland is blue, is because of Baltimore and Montgomery County. The rest of us prefer to live in the real world.

History week 2015

Children, this is the first mosque and security compound in America put in place in 2007 after we had our foothold. Since then,as you can see,we have displaced the infidels as our servants. Those infidels who refused to bow to subservience were dispatched as the good book, the Koran stated. Praise be to allah

People, even in blue states ...

For the record, only 6 of 23 counties in Maryland are blue. Frederick county, where Walkersville is, is a red county.

When are people going to see these muzzie communes for what they are?

I believe they are nothing but military bases being built by the ROP to try and facilitate a hostile takeover of our country. When enough of these damned things get built, the SWHTF, and we’ll have all that “sectarian” violence seen in Iraq right here in our country.

If these developments continue to grow in number, unchecked, a bloody civil war is inevitable.

If they could find an excuse to do what they did in Waco, why not Islamberg? It’s long overdue, IMHO.

Soon, there might be more of these places than US military bases. This is sheer insanity and yet another reason to distrust our own government and wonder if they really do want to kill US all.

I don’t think there should be ANY muslim religious buildings or campgrounds permitted in the US until an equivalent number of Christian/Jewish religious buildings are permitted in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Sudan, etc.

That said, though, I think the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is considered as heretical and is persecuted by most of the rest of the muslim world. (I have no idea where that places them with regard to the WOT. )

“It’s surprising see some people from a blue state taking a stand against Islamism.”

There are conservatives in Blue states. Besides, if you talk to a lot of Democrats you find out they are really conservative. Why they vote democrat varies. Most were conditioned to do so by parents and community.

“Obviously (most) Americans don’t have a clue of what they are up against.”

Absolutely not. And if you have ever tried to talk to these people (Muslims) you will generally find they will not converse or if they do, the hubris is stifling. The Koran preaches that they must never make friends with a nonbeliever. They are told to lead us on and to kill us. But you know this. So why are we letting these bastards in? Because it’s like you said.

Maryland has Balmer, Annopolis and the DC suburbs...but it also has the Eastern Shore and the mountains to the west of the state which are redder. Like many states, it’s the cities who dictate politics.

'bout an hour from mine. I'm not happy about it. There's already at least one mohammedan compound in Prince William County (VA). I'm not happy about that, either.

John Mohammed and Lee Malvo were both mohammedans.

BLOAT.

If someone has threatened to shoot you you don’t load a gun and hand it to him, and then point to your heart and say “shoot here”!
This is only 1 step on the road to complete and total takeover. How can normally sane Americans allow this?

It’s good news that more people are waking up and realizing that Islam is NOT a religion of peace but a refuge for terror - all started 1400 years ago by Satan working with a murdering psychopathic pedophile named Muhammad.

There have been many reports the last several years of Muslims forsaking Islam and embracing Christianity in the 10-40 window of the world - I pray there will be many more.

We should never forget the atrocities of Islam either of today or in the past.

On The Massacre Of The Christians In Bulgaria
by Oscar Wilde

Christ, dost thou live indeed? or are thy bones
Still straightened in their rock-hewn sepulcher?
And was thy Rising only dreamed by Her
Whose love of thee for all her sin atones?
For here the air is horrid with men’s groans,
The priests who call upon thy name are slain,
Dost thou not hear the bitter wail of pain
From those whose children lie upon the stones?
Come down, O Son of God! incestuous gloom
Curtains the land, and through the starless night
Over thy Cross the Crescent moon I see!
If thou in very truth didst burst the tomb
Come down, O Son of Man! and show thy might,
Lest Mahomet be crowned instead of Thee!

The above refers to the Batak Massacre of 1876
an eyewitness to the aftermath wrote this:

“As we approached the church ... the sight was more dreadful. There these remains were more frequent, and the ground was literally covered with skeletons, skulls, and putrefying bodies in clothing. The whole churchyard for three feet deep was festering with dead bodies partly covered - hands, legs, arms, and heads projected in ghastly confusion. The church was still worse. I have never imagined anything so fearful ... I saw many little hands, heads, and feet of children of three years of age, and girls, with heads covered with beautiful hair...
All over the place horror, horror, only horror!

The town had 8,000 or 9,000 inhabitants. There now remains 1,200.”

From the report of MacGahan, American military correspondent of the English newspaper “Daily News”, 1876. Also see Modern History Sourcebook

More about the massacre can be read at http://www.abvg.net/Batak/

Where do all these Muslims pop up from? I know this administration has been importing loads from Somalia, etc. But this many? Prior to 9/11 when they surely were viewed as far less of a threat, I had heard of no demands for footbaths at public schools or anywhere else, of a student being disciplined for leaving behind a pork sandwich, of colleges requiring students to study the Koran, and other efforts to Muslimize this country.

I think that was the one that was propsed to be built in a rural area.

If I am correct, the farmer/rancher next door to the proposed mosque site was planning to raise pigs and to have the pigs’ pen on the far end of his property right next to the mosque site. The owner also said that if the mosque was built that he would hold Friday night hog races every week (to coincide with Islam’s holy day.)
