Teamsters president James Hoffa on the G. Gordon Liddy Show re: 100 Mexican Carriers (trucking companies)invited onto American Highways, the Security and Prosperity Partnership, etc. You can click to listen.
"We're aware of the SPP (...) this is a conspiracy of big business (...) all [safety] interests will be put aside to [eliminate borders] (...) [they're building] an enormous port down in Mexico [with a ten-lane highway](...) Toll roads built with foreign money (...) All this is being greased by big business (...) they don't want regulations, they don't want food inspection (...) This is what the "NAFTA Superhighway" is all about..."
Just make sure they go home after they drop off their load.
When Hoffa endorses a Republican and puts his union money behind one, then I will listen to him. Until that happens, the labor shills can sell their sad story elsewhere.
Unions think the sun coming up in the morning is “a conspiracy of big business”. I’m strongly against Mexican trucks on our highways, but Jr. Hoffa isn’t my spokesman.
“Oh, they will. They don’t want to be near the large mushroom cloud it will make.”
Not really. It’s a toss up as to what will explode first, their load, or the unsafe trucks they bring it into the country with.
When more Republicans start voting and acting like patriots, when they take a stand to protect our borders, our jobs, our language, our second-amendment rights and other INDIVIDUAL rights and freedoms, when they stop acting like pansy socialists, when they start acting just a wee bit more like our founding fathers and less like store-bought big-business back-pocket legislators, when they do this... I will no longer pause before identifying myself as a Republican. And through it all, I will keep my ears WIDE open, especially as concerns SUPERNAFTA. Dig?
Who IS your spokesman? Do you think Tom Tancredo’s got the muscle to keep Mexican trucks off our highways? Do you think our beloved President is going to take a stand to keep Mexican trucks (and their often intoxicated, illiterate drivers) off our highways? I lost two friends to a drunk Mexican trucker. Who is going to take a stand? Who is your spokesman? Mitt Romney, maybe? Sheesh.
One of the biggest problems that I see is the insurance problems. Let’s watch and see what happens when someone has to deal with a Mexico Insurance Company because one of their trucks dared to hit one of our cars.
The real offensive part and to me this is signature, the metal all over the vehicle was rusted and some parts clearly gone from being eaten by rust. It did not look safe and well maintained. If one saw this thing next to them on the road the foreign language advertising alone would piss them off, now if this driver was on meth or drunk, all I can say is ladies and gentlemen you think illegals on the street corners are bad, just wait till their trucks are on your freeways. God help us. Welcome to Amexico.
Hoffa is right about the timing. I might also add it is offensive to all Americans that pay taxes for safe roads and regulatory commission that are supposed to be there to protect us--HA!. That is where Hoff and his ilk are out of it. They think government is their nipple and protector. All of this south of the border invasion has shown us all what a complete and utter lie that is.
Why aren't the conservatives out protesting this. Just wait 'til you see 'em barrelling down the road next to you and your family. You are going to wish you had lined up at the border and used anything for a barracade.
Woah, calm down. No wonder Hoffa’s your hero. You’re as belligerent as a teamster. As soon as the Mexican govt. bribes the teamsters, they’ll be all in favor of mexican trucks.
Hoffa’s not my hero... I am not a member of any union and I detest the Democrat-Union Machine. But what gets my goat is to see ‘Freedom Loving’ Americans like us scream “Down With Hoffa!” “Silence Farah!” “Down with Corsi, Liddy, ANYONE who dares criticize George W. Bush and the GOP on ANY issue whatsoever...” while we float down the Rio Grande.
However the more intertwined we are with these Mexicans in all areas of labor, shipping etc we will see the unions spread and integrate with our own as they will recruit them on U.S. soil and it will be imported south by the Mexican nationals themselves. We need to be prepared for their success and international growth with these south of the border workers.
With these Mexican semis coming across, we just crossed a very distinct line going forward in our country and when those unions unite with these people it will be a Mexican national with power of numbers and eventual intimidation in our own country. Those protests in LA that gave us all those 'lovely' images of angry mob Mexicans--we will see them again, this time with U.S. labor unions entwined with them. Oh Joy.
If America is destroyed, it may be by Americans who salute the flag, sing the national anthem, march in patriotic parades, cheer Fourth of July speakers normally good Americans, but Americans who fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free, Americans who have been lulled away into a false security.
- Ezra Taft Benson, An Enemy Hath Done This
Bump!
The Murray-Shelby amendment in 2001 specified the Mexican trucks to be covered by US insurance.
Irregardless of that, insuring the mexican trucks was never much of an issue. OTOH, insuring US trucks in Mexico was more difficult because, there, vehicle accidents are a criminal matter while in the the US, they are a civil matter.
All of them sang the same stinking tune.... that it was good for both countries and the kinks would be worked out. Tancredo called a meeting of his anti-illegal caucus ( I forgot the exact name) and he and a rep. from Georgia spoke out against it.
Some things never change, the Teamsters are looking to increase membership primarily.
Thursday (8/30/07) on Laura Ingraham’s show, she interviewed Dr. Jerome Corsi who wrote a book called: “The Late Great USA.”
Corsi says:
We’re six years into the WOT, and why hasn’t Bush secured our borders. Argument is SPP has agenda to open our borders and we’re on the same path that Europe was on. We started with NAFTA, and they have now have a name for the currency AMERO?? that our three countries would use. We need to stop this, so it won’t happen. 3 quarters of illegals came in while Bush was president. Then Bush tries to pass Kennedy/McCain, etc., and that’s how this works - incrementally. Then they will say why not have a common currency?

You get it. This is how it happened with the EU. We didn’t get to the Euro all at once, it happened in stages over twenty years: Tarriffs dropped, borders evaporated, citizens of sovereign countries became citizens of nebulous regions. I call it a “continental monarchy.”
Well, if the Teamsters and G Gordon Liddy say the conspiracy is real I guess it must be... /s
More often than not, the Teamsters have endorsed Republicans for president going back to at least the Reagan administration.
have you seen www.spp.gov ? Here are some excerpts from a Henry Lamb article on WND.
“Here’s the question: Is the NAU fact, or fiction?
Ridicule is a time-proven way to discredit opponents and redirect attention away from the issue at hand. (...) When asked, “Can you say today that this is not a prelude to a North American Union?” Bush didn’t say yes or no; he hemmed and hawed and told reporters: “I’m amused by the difference between what actually takes place in the meetings and by what some are trying to say takes place.”
Were the meetings not held in secret and were the press allowed to observe and report, the president would certainly not be amused. Through a Freedom of Information Act request, Judicial Watch secured documents from a previous meeting of the Security and Prosperity Partners, and learned that in secret, the participants discussed “... evolution by stealth,” referring to the advancement of the SPP. (...)
Michael Medved, a talk-show host who calls those concerned about the NAU a “shameless collection of lunatics and losers, crooks, cranks, demagogues and opportunists,” is also either ignorant, or deceitful. He also claims, “[Robert] Pastor is a loony leftist, slightly unhinged professor at American University ... who bears no connection whatever to the Bush administration or the dreaded Security and Prosperity Partnership ... an addled academic with zero power in the government.” (...)
The FOIA documents secured by Judicial Watch from the secret SPP meeting revealed that in September 2005, Pastor conducted a seminar for the participating agencies of the three governments on “The Future of North America.” Obviously, Pastor was invited by the Bush administration. Obviously, Medved was either ignorant of this fact, or he is deliberately trying to deceive his audience.
Canada’s prime minister, Stephen Harper, said: “There’s not going to be any NAFTA Superhighway connecting the three nations, and it’s not going to go interplanetary, either.”
But Canada’s deputy minister of transportation, Andrew Horoskok, is a regional vice president of the North American SuperCorridor Coalition, along with other prominent Canadians. (...)
In his defense of the secret SPP meetings, and in an effort to further distract attention from the NAU, President Bush told reporters that NAFTA generated $884 billion in trade. But he failed to report that last year alone, NAFTA also produced a U.S. trade deficit of $136.1 billion. (...)
.
(...)
The deniers can deny all they wish. If they are not ignorant, they must be deceitful. If it looks like a skunk and smells like a skunk, it’s probably a skunk regardless of what you call it.”

...But I posit you are affected by the emanations from an old pro-Carey penumbra:
“For two decades, Republicans exchanged protection of corrupt Teamster
leaders for campaign cash and endorsements. Now that Carey and his
democratic reformers have begun to bring back honest union leadership and
a challenge to corprate greed, it is rank sanctimonious hypocrisy for them
to condem the Democrats for possibly aiding the good guys in cleaning up
the corruption the Republicans supported for two decades.”
“This is how it happened with the EU. We didnt get to the Euro all at once, it happened in stages over twenty years: Tarriffs dropped, borders evaporated, citizens of sovereign countries became citizens of nebulous regions. I call it a continental monarchy.”
Governments always do things incrementally, like a frog boiling to death.
We’ve GOT to get Hunter as our president to save our sovereignty.

Thank you, and Corsi’s book sound great!
