So, Senator Slimeball, which anti-war Republicans would you be referring too, precisely...?

This one sentence says it all...

Saying the coming weeks will be "one of the last opportunities" to alter the course of the war, Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) said he is now willing to compromise with Republicans to find ways to limit troop deployments in Iraq.

The fact that the new troop levels are working towards a stable Iraq means that the leftist scum on BOTH sides of the isle can't let stand. The traitors with our own party are now joining forces stabbing our troops in the back. How sicking....we need to clean up out own house next time around.

"...he is now willing to compromise with Republicans to find ways to limit troop deployments in Iraq."

Can this asshat just for once concentrate on victory for America, victory, for the people of Iraq, victory for a stable Iraq, victory for a sane world!?

Isn’t it strange that all we hear from the left is change the direction of a war we are winning?

He is not only a traitor but he is dumb beyond belief. When those delusional traitors and their media are going to understand that they are not going to win against President Bush on the war issue?!

By anti-war Republicans, I assume he means Ron Paul supporters.

What is even more amazing than the fecklessness shown by congressional democrats is the bile and hatred evident in the comments that are posted following this WaPo article. The leftwing in the USA are a hateful, delusional, vile bunch who are only interested in undermining GWB and the Administration as means to their own political ends. I don’t know where these individuals come from in our country. Perhaps they should move to, say, a muslim-dominated country to see how they would fare.

Ain’t a dime’s worth of difference between GWB and Harry Reid on the Iraq war. Flame away....but he the truth is that (rhetoric to the contrary) the Democrats have give the president everything he wants thus far, and show every sign of continuing to do so.

Which is worse - playing footsie with an undercover cop in an airport bathroom stall, or playing ball with a Democrat who wants to lose the war in Iraq? Which will get the most calls for resignation from the Republican leadership?

Dingy Harry is desperate. All that good news out of Iraq has clearly affected his political judgment. Does any one think he would cut a deal with the RINOs if The Surge was a failure? NO! They would jump into bed with him. No one in the GOP is doing that today. If Harry has to entertain this - he's panicked.

“We need to get out of Iraq and go after Al-Qaeda.”

Uh, Al-Qaeda IS in Iraq. They are trying to force their own theocratic dictatorship on the Iraqis at the moment, and we’ve made it our goal since September 11th to prevent them of a safehaven and to take out their leadership and members. Well, that’s what we’re doing.

And we are not “creating” terrorists. That is a fallacy. The murderers who dress themselves in dynamite and destroy innocent women and children always had the capacity for their murderous thoughts to take shape. Now that we are there, the cockroaches are coming out of the dark and showing their true form.

And at the same time, we are ensuring that atleast 2 countries in the Middle East will no longer be safe for these murderers, and will have a chance at a democracy and hope. Not only are we fighting for the next generation of americans, but we are also obliged to the next generation of iraqis who will see that the insurgency is a failure of stone-age thinking and evil ambition, and there is hope and peace in democracy and modernity.

Leaving Iraq would give Al-Qaeda one of the BIGGEST terrorist safehavens ever. It would become one big training camp, and we wouldn’t be allowed there to fight them because short-sighted idiots like Reid want to win elections.

You’re starting to sound like Ron Paul with this ignorant talk.
