I did not mean what I said sarcastic I was just stating facts. As far as I am concerned they probably should have been executed but plenty have been paroled that murdered people and I am not a pacifist but these young girls were manipulated and brainwashed and she has probably served longer than anyone in the country,especially in California over this. Take what I said or leave it but I am tired of a crooked Criminal Justice System that disposes justice according to who you are and what you can afford. I had a fellow police officer murdered by thugs and the murderer was released before 15 years was up and he had an escape before he was released so I am no bleeding heart but I believe in equality. I have seen one or two of this womens hearings and I honestly think she is a political prisoner who would have already been paroled had it not been for the Hollywood In-Crowd.

I'm wondering what she's done, if anything, to tick off the Board of Parole Hearings.

It might have something to do with her unwillingness to admit the extent of her participation in the slayings...

On October 26, 1974, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Horton and two accomplices robbed Joseph Fournier, a 17-year-old gas station attendant, stabbed him 19 times, and left him in a trash can. Fournier died from blood loss. Horton was convicted of murder, sentenced to life imprisonment, and incarcerated at the Concord Correctional Facility in Massachusetts.

On June 6, 1986, he was released as part of a weekend furlough program but did not return. On April 3, 1987 in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Horton twice raped a local woman after pistol-whipping, knifing, binding, and gagging her fiancé. He then stole the car belonging to the man he had assaulted, but was later captured by police after a chase. On October 20, Horton was sentenced in Maryland to two consecutive life terms plus 85 years. The sentencing judge, Vincent J Femia, refused to return Horton to Massachusetts, saying, "I'm not prepared to take the chance that Mr. Horton might again be furloughed or otherwise released. This man should never draw a breath of free air again." This was reported in the October 1987 Reader's Digest.

I am so glad about this. I saw a video of one of the Parole Hearings in which she was denied, and it was interesting. She comes off as a nice, articulate, well educated woman. Thus, we were all supposed to sympathize with her. Family of the victims, always attend these hearings arguing AGAINST her release. For her heinous crime, she deserved death. I hope she never gets out.

Thank you. I was interested because of my dads association with hers and the prior hearings I’ve read about never mentioned anything about any of her relatives being present.

ha ha, that's pretty good.

ACtually, the commissioners who do these hearings are appointed by the Gov and there are both Dems and Reps. I've been doing these lifer hearings for years, and the commissioners are not bleeding hearts by any stretch. It is my impression that since they are forced by law to do these hearings for lifers that they do, knowing full well they aren't going to grant them parole.
