Contrary to what President Bush claims, family values do stop at the Rio Grande for many illegal aliens. In fact since 1999, there have been more than 1,000,000 sex crimes committed in the United States by illegal aliens.

In Operation Predator sweeps conducted since July 2003 across this country, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents nabbed over 8,500 foreign national child molesters and rapists. Many of these predators had been previously convicted of other crimes, and many had already been deported once.
The Americans For Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) recently tracked child sexual assaults committed by illegal aliens. In a 30 day period, they recorded 27 assaults by foreign nationals illegaly inside the United States. The results are as follows:

Testimony by Whitmire and management officials indicated that Gomez placed a toaster filled with matches in a microwave oven in his room intending a massive "delayed burn." Proof also showed that multiple towels were stuffed into the toilet in order to retard the water supply. The hotel manager testified that the towels were stuffed so deeply that the pipes had to be disassembled to remove them. She also stated that the room was severely damaged and vandalized. Many children were endangered.
Authorities said Bario Gomez is an illegal alien with no proof of identification. Officials also said he gave police a false name. The INS placed a hold on Gomez, 20, after charges of aggravated arson and aggravated vandalism were filed against him.

An undocumented immigrant in Peoria was arrested Thursday after an incident in which a man tried to force himself on a 13-year-old girl at a Fry's supermarket, authorities said.
Mike Tellef, public information officer for the Peoria Police Department, said the suspect, Javier Ramos, 23, was booked on charges of kidnapping, attempted sexual misconduct with a minor, and aggravated assault on a minor. He also had an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license.
As the victim exited the ladies' room at the Fry's on 7455 W. Cactus Road, she was grabbed and forced to the floor by a man who forced his way into the bathroom, Tellef said.
Police reported several people at the supermarket heard the victim's screams.

More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says
When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.
Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.
All that said, it could be argued that if you include the number of illegals in state and local prisons the number of illegals in jail shrinks to 6% of the total prison population. Never the less if you multiply 16692 (the number of americans murdered in 2005) * .06 (illegal alien percent of total prison population) * 4 (the number of years the US has been in Iraq). The result is that more americans (4006) have been killed by illegals than have been killed in the Iraq war.
This point needs to be hammered home. Just as the liberals have hammered home the point about americans killed in Iraq.

So, all these psuedo-studies that start with the incarceration rate and extrapolate back to a crime rate are erroneous. This includes the illegal sexual crime rate described in the article above. Also Mac Johnson's illegal murder rate. Also Steve King's more Americans are murdered by illegals than are killed in Iraq. Also Heather McDonald's illegal crime article.
As for the LA Times article you are lamenting, it is probably accurate, but applies only to Harbor Gateway, for the years mentioned. Likewise any stat for LA is accurate only for LA.
Maybe, but if you look at the wanted for murder pictures in the big cities — but all the guys wanted for murder in big cities like LA look Hispanic to me. And until their country of origin was taken down from the internet back in march—all of the people wanted for murder in LA were listed as nationals from Mexico & central america. That tracks with the constant barrage of stories about gangland drug killings south of the border. Even in small and middle size cites of the USA 1/4 of the people wanted for murder are hispanic. You can see that in their pictures and names. You can say that their pictures lie or their names are alibis but that argument begins to seriously impugn your judgment.
None of this is any big stretch. This tracks with constant stories about gangs like MS13 and many other gangs all over the USA. Even the Mexican government these days is complaining to US officials that the Mexican drug gangs are buying high powered weapons in the USA and shipping them south. That leaves the Mexican government out gunned.
Its not too hard to figure out that some of those weapons are also being used north of the border.
