I have seen Scarface. I do recall it was a DePalma flick afterall. I can’t recall anything that specifically reminded me of Hitchcock.

Watch for Roger Ebert to stand up for him as he did Spike Lee and Oliver Stone to say that you should not expect a history lesson when watching a biopic and basically that it is your own fault if you fall for the lies of a filmmaker.
This particular film is in very bad taste but Ebert is right about that. Drama never lies. Shakespeare's History Plays were bogus as well.

95% or more of actors and films today are trash and much of it and them are traitorous.

Your baloney is somebody else's steak. If my assertion is baloney or a little much, it is not TOO much. The list of actors and musicians and other celebs trashing our country is much longer than the list of those supporting our traditiions and freedoms--and as we are at war, much of what they do is aiding and abetting the enemy--as in this film of Da Palma's. That is traitorous in intent if not actually unlawful, and I believe some of it IS unlawful. It is just ignored because people aren't paying attention and aren't willing to offend celebrities. However, these same celebs have no compunction about offending me.

The percentage would probably be about the same with accountants and bartenders. The only difference between these clowns and clowns in other industries who feel the same way is that these clowns get media attention. They are a miniscule percentage of the wide range of American film arts.

Socialists are not allowed to be critical of Stalin. Didn’t George Orwell’s message get through to you?
It was the chief reason he lost faith in Socialism because it was morally corrupt and politically chilling.

Brain DePalma is a low-life maggot and nut-job.
NO AMERICAN should ever patronize ANY of his future productions. He hsould die in poverty, a rejected failure.
Next to him MIchael Moore looks almost wholesome.
