Environmentally friendly cars might be popular with Hollywood stars Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Leonardo Di Caprio, but they certainly have failed to impress Yoko Ono.
The widow of late Beatle John Lennon feels that environmentally friendly cars are not as comfortable as her Bentley.

There isn’t a vehicle big enough if one of her CDs is in the player.
LMAO!
What the heck did John Lennon see in her? Was he that high all the time?
Yeah. Pretty much...
It’s a shame that she didn’t consider the comfort of others when she developed an interest in making ‘music’.

WHO is Yoko Ono?
To my limited knowledge of her history, is the first sane, and spot-on, opinion she has expressed in her life.
She’s a perfect example of someone that would have amounted to nothing, if she hadn’t married well.
Truth be told, John was just as whacky as she is.
Can someone please make a hybrid car that can safely tow a 7,500 lb. boat and trailer rig, just like most big SUVs can?
Yoko Ono is walking, living, breathing proof of the historically unprecedented magnanimity the United States has shown to citizens of the nations we vanquish after they declare war on us.
What’s the old saying, dying is good for a career? On his own I think his music sucked. But, due to his untimely death it’s taken on almost a mythical quality.
In her case, I'm afraid, amounting to nothing would be over achievement ;-)
Her type of primal screams, that she calls music, are certainly not a turn on.
She was a snotty artiste, and he thought he was marrying up. Thats what its all about with these working class wannabes, sorry to say.

Be nice now......
My favorite work of hers is on the back side of the Blue Plastic Ono Band Ablum, Lenon produced back in the 70s.
I’ve never spent a more painful 20-30 minutes.
Oui...
And frankly I don’t care if the whole left starts walking everywhere. I’m not going to.

Rich widow, I gather.
Rich widow, I gather.
She’s got a 6 disc retrospective out. Just think, 6+ hours of cats being fed into a blender.
I think BNL did a song about someone or thing named “Yoko Ono”.
Anybody who writes a song like imagine is worthy of scorn, dead or alive. A song that praises communism, what a legacy.
“She couldn’t draw flies” was one review that stuck in my mind.
My tagline says it all.
Dear G-d, it's back to Charm School for Yoko.
The thing has become the anthem of the cultural Left.
At least she’s honest!
Cool hat!!!
The guy had enough money to buy a third world hell-hole and reform it if he wished. And yet he’s trashing the free-market world that gave him his wealth and ability to stay in bed all day in his pj’s. What a joke.
Oh I can imagine. (Making cross sign with crossed fingers in front of my body as I respond...)
Yes, he’s been canonized, but he was a real nut job. Choosing Yoko was a sure sign of a loose screw. I do enjoy much of what he co-authored with McCartney, but this is another case of “shut up and sing”.
John Lennon was a loser, he just achieved status as king of the Beatles because he was stereotypical of the American radical left. The real talent of the Beatles resided with Paul McCartney, but he was too conventional for the leftist American press and they always treated him as an also-ran.
He was about as capitalistic as one can get!! It’s fairly well documented that his “peace & love” crap was not for real. He even beat his wives, was a drunk, druggie, etc. But he did have talent. And, Imagine is a nice tune IF you can ignore the lyrics (which he didn’t believe anyway!).
Thoughts on “Happiness Is A Warm Gun”? :-)
“Imagine” does not just trash capitalism: it trashes all of western culture.
Alright I won’t speak ill of the dead anymore, after this post. His music sucked, he was a left-winged hypocrite and the Stones were much better than the Beatles anyway. As a group or solo.
Still ugly after all these years ...
What’s yellow and lives off dead beatles?
Yoko Ono
Heh. I liked John Lennon a lot more after seeing a special on him. He was going to do a bunch of concerts for leftwingers opposing Nixon rallies in ‘72. Abbie Hoffman was arranging it, John Lennon’s involvement would have made them huge, and they were going to shadow the Nixon campaign and basically torment Nixon as he tried to campaign. Surprise, surprise, the INS pulled John Lennon’s green card because of a drug conviction. He was in court for years after trying to stay in the country. He had the sense not to do the concerts . . .
Yoko is just a wackjob. But on this one, does anyone disagree with her? Wouldn’t you rather have a Bentley than an electric car?
Not to mention being one of the two most boring songs in history. The other being “A Horse With No Name”.
