I cannot say if it was specifically named for the BB per sey, but it was named Ark Royal in honor of the other four vessels that had been named Ark ROyal, this being the fifth. If you go to this Invincible page on my World Wide Aircraft Carrier.com site:

Yes I know. Now they just have to actually pay year after year for 7 to 9 years, to get a navy air capability back. For the CVFs and for the JSFs.
