Call it irony or call it karma.
The ex-newspaper editor from Britain who mocked President Bush in 2003 for falling off a Segway scooter has now suffered his own spill from the personal transportation device and the plunge was caught on camera.

THAT explains why Rove left. Rove had work to do. We are starting to see the results.
“Bush mocker falls of Segway”
Nice title. Write that one yourself?
poetry in motion
Pride goeth before a fall...
Off course, what goes around comes around.
Excuse me Mr. Grammar, the post should read:
“Bush mocker falls off Segway”
Didn’t mean to ruin your day. You can go back to grading papers now.
The story was posted here yesterday, and IIRC, one of the Freepers made that quoted comment here.
What are you doing here if you’re not a Freeper?
lol, that’s funny
Didn’t mean to repost - I looked in the archive and did not see it there. I used keywords: PIERS, MORGAN, and SEGWAY and didn’t see anything.
No, you broke the rules when you doctored the title, Newbie.
Homegrown titles cause duplicate posts.
The title of the article is: “Reporter who mocked Bush on Segway suffers own spill”
Thanks for posting this today. It is from a different source than yesterday’s and gives additional information such as a quote from The Coordinated One. Don’t let the anal retentive around here keep you from posting.
Post away......just post actual titles, that’s all....
Here is the reporter who fell.
Piers Morgan, judge on America's Got Talent TV show.
Wow, I had no idea he was the one who criticized President Bush.
He didn't break a leg, but even better: He did broke 3 ribs!
“Morgan broke three ribs after falling off the Segway”
Hurts to laugh, don’t it?
Actually, the correct quote is, "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Prov. 16:18)
It still works, though.
Comments already posted on Internet messageboards include:
"I have just fallen off my chair laughing at this and I suspect a lot of celebrities and other readers will also. Who said there is no such thing as natural justice?"
"Falling off a Segway doesn't make you an idiot, but calling someone an idiot for doing so and then doing the same yourself does make you an idiot."
The Brits appear to exist in only two flavors: v-sharp or v-dorky. This reporter (and apparently the entire contingent of the BBC) are of the latter flavor. It’s good to see that science (the arch enemy of the chattering class) has once again shown its ability to expose “chattering dorkiness” - through the use of a balancing scooter. May I soon see Christine A-hole-pour on one of those machines.
LOL! Looks like his nose may have broken his fall.
He’s got what I used to call a “punch me face”.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! May he be mocked until the end of time.
“Who said there is no such thing as natural justice?”
Liberals believe in NO CONSEQUENCES. This man needs to be compensated for the natural consequences at the expense of others with a Segway tax.
na na na na boo boo
***THAT explains why Rove left. Rove had work to do. We are starting to see the results.***
I can’t wait to see what Rove does next.
Here’s a mispelled word. Pounce on it.
Okay. I asked the poster if he wrote the title himself. I never mentioned grammar. I never mentioned spelling. (You CAN read, right?) I was attempting to let the poster know that inventing thread titles can cause duplicate posts. The mod evidently agreed because the title was changed. The rules are in place for a reason.
This ain’t AOL chat.
Too bad WND doesn’t give credit to those who appaerently broke the story first.

Seems like they do that a lot.
