The “Plan for a New American Century” is the linchpin of one of the extremist Democrats’ favorite conspiracy theories.

It’s often mentioned in the same breath as “Bush did 9/11.”

You are new here.

Manhood in foreign and military policy is a conservative essential. The sissy boys tend to collect where they belong in the Demonratic Party.

PaleoPaulie CLAIMS to be pro-life but then as a faux "constitutioalist" wants to leave the matter to the states rather than protecting innocent human life, If he gets his way, then NYC, LA and a few other cities will keep a high percentage of abortions rolling. Thanks, but no thanks. Of course, he also contradicts himself by filing pro-life bills so that he can pose for holy pictures as a pro-lifer while also claiming it is for the states only to decide. Again: Thanks, but no thanks.

But paleoPaulie is at least a fiscal conservative, right??? Not if his earmark record is any indication. He is the federal padrone of the shrimpin' bidness, of Galveston trolleys, Galveston buses, Galveston area nursing scholarships and a host of other waste by demanding that his earmarks be included in the appropriations bill that he will oppose, again posing for fiscal conservative holy pictures while bringing home the pork.

But, but paleoPaulie is at least a solid Christian and family man???? Well, he probably is but you would be hard-pressed to prove it by his voting record. Not only does he oppose federal legislation (interstate commerce clause) to punish those who take minor girls across state lines for abortions without their parents' knowledge but he also opposes federal action to crack down on renegade state courts who have recently been discovering a "right" for perverts to "marry" one another.

But, but, but, paleoPaulie IS anti-globalist, at least????? When paleos use the word "globalist", they mean Wilsonian internationalist or Mother UN, may I or diployakkery addicts or treaties. Conservatism in foreign policy is INTERVENTIONISM. We wage war when and if we wish for reasons which we deem sufficient. We ask no permission of other nations or of the UN. We act in our own best interests (availability of oil as a strategic necessity) or those of nations or peoples whom we deem to be our allies (Israelis or Kurds for example). We don't have to wait for Ahmadinejad to nuclearly incinerate Israel to respond. We can disable his ability to do so in the first place. We call this concept PREVENTIVE WAR and it is far preferable to the alternatives especially when the emphasis is placed by our Air Force and nuclear submarine force on death from the sky.

But, but, but, but, at least paleoPaulie is pro-gun. Again as with his reputation as pro-life, does he believe that Congress should short-circuit state gun regulations. To do that, he has to believe that the 2nd Amendment RTKBA is "incorporated" and mademandatory upon the states via the 14th Amendment. Whatever bills he may have filed, I doubt he believes that. I do.

But, but, but, but, but, at least paleoPaulie is pro-property rights. Maybe, but that is a pretty low crossbar for any but outright communists.

Pro borders???? Yawn. Another lost cause. Twenty million "illegals" minimum are here since 1986 and have born a generation of anchor babies. They aren't going anywhere outside of our country. More useless paleoPaulie holy picture posing.

Thank God, that there has been a strong lobby for weapons in DC. We cannot use weapons that are not invented, developed and funded. Free people everywhere owe those arms lobbyists a debt of gratitude too massive to ever be repaid. They owe that same debt and then some to our military.

At least John Kerry supported ____ before he opposed it or opposed _____ before he supported it. El Ron Paulie wants to be simulktaneously for and against so very many things. It is time for him to go hime in disgrace. Hopefully, next year's Congressional primary will go as badly for him as his presidential primaries and caucuses surely will. He will not be missed.

Those who oppose this war are NOT Republicans. Reasons to support the war: Taking Sodamn Insane out of power, arresting the SOB in his spider hole, seeing to it that he was hanged, our troops slaughtering Sodamn's rape/murderer sons Uday and Kucay. Setting an example with which others like him will hereafter need to reckon, recharging our pool of battle veterans, having the opportunity to identify and marginalize the anti-war antiAmericans.

Finally, don't kid yourself that it is merely the GOP "establishment" that despises antiwar antiAmericans and other cranks of that sort. That is true of most (by far) of the rank and file as paleoPaulie will find out when the caucuses and primaries begin. Tick, tick, tick. How could supporters of Ron Paul avoid acting like asses and still humiliate themselves by their choice of candidate???

Again, libertoonianism and conservatism are not synonyms.

Thanks.

I’ll just point out Ron Paul has zero chance of being elected outside of his district, and I suspect his comments during the debates so far have put that in jeopardy as well.

Hadn't heard this in the news. Why not?

If you were familiar with Coryell County you would know why. It's a small county just north of Fort Hood known only for the Womens prison.

Exactly. He’s been relying on the media to carry his water. And they have.

As I have mentioned before he is the only candidate besides occasionally Gingrich who is included in the Republican polling and has been for months but is not an official candidate. I have wondered why Gore isn't included in the Dem polling.

I wonder what the numbers would be or who would have risen if Thompson wasn't included.

Interesting question. But the pollsters ahve been doing alot of heavy lifting for him by including him for the last 6 months.

It’s only important to Fredheads if Fred wins, then its headline news. LOL

I think pretty much everybody here has that attitude with regard to their candidate.

BTW, what happened to your Babe of the Week threads? Have they morphed into Babe of the Month threads? WE WANT MORE HOTTIES!
