Yahoo news ^ | September 4, 2007 | John Moreno Gonzales

NEW ORLEANS - Mayor Ray Nagin could be days away from announcing he will run for governor of Louisiana — a move many in this stricken city regard as preposterous.

If Nagin runs, he will do so on his stewardship of New Orleans.

“If Nagin runs, he will do so on his stewardship of New Orleans.”

ROTFLMAO.

Number one in crime. Worst in Katrina preparation, response, and recovery.

Sad thing is, he’d have a shot at winning.

He'd be Louisiana governor material if he or his family were able to pocket about a billion of that money. Anything else and his is below par for the job.

Everyone should pray for the people of Biloxi and the rest of Southern Mississippi that don’t get the publicity New Orleans does. Thankfully, they have a decent governor—Haley Barbour, a republican. Mississippi is where Hurricane Katrina actually hit, and it was devastated!

Louisiana does not have party primaries. They have an open primary with everybody who wants to running in it. If no one gets a majority then there is a runoff. So the Republican candidate Jindal is likely to run first in the Gubernatorial primary.

This will be like having Zippy the pin head as governor. This retard couldn't manage a lemonade stand let alone a state. Just what kind of drugs are the people of New Orleans on to re-elect this empty suite?

In 2003, Nagin endorsed Bobby Jindal for governor, and the people of New Orleans forgave him in 2006. Statewide though, I think “he has a problem.”
