Even if it was cost effective wouldn’t you pay double to have chicken at least from America? “They” are never going to put a label on the food so we can choose.

Whatever it is, it’s not free enterprise.

Just one more reason not to drink Starbucks coffee. It’s nasty now.

shipments to the United States for testing.

Test it in China. In fact, keep it in China. Starbucks, you just messed up! Your decision to participate with the globalists, will cost you your reputation in the US!! I know a lot of people who drink Starbucks, but they're going to stop drinking it after I tell them about this.

I have a knee-jerk hostility to people who use the word “Source” instead of “Buy” or “Purchase”. Grrrrrr....

I have the same reaction when I read articles that use "the government" instead of "taxpayers". i.e., "The government" plans to spend ....blah blah dollars, instead of "taxpayers" will spend blah blah dollars.

Do you “buy” or “purchase” from vendors or suppliers?

It always grated my nerves to hear a multi-$Billion corporation referred to as a “vendor” or “supplier”...
It seemed so much more appropriate and respectful to think of them as your “source”...

The guy who sells hot dogs on the street, may be your food vendor.
The guy who sells you your dope, is fittingly called your supplier.

Neither term is appropriate for the SOURCE of your million dollar a day or week purchase of precision components.

However, Starbucks' Shanghai-based spokeswoman, Caren Li, said the aim was to add new flavors, not to avoid tariffs.

What flavors, Melamine Mocha? Cappuccino Propyleno al Piombo?

Roast anything long enough and it will taste like Starbucks coffee.

I would avoid the Venti iced Molech...

China is a most favored nation trading partner. What could go wrong?

“juicy melamine “

You could run an ad campaign here in the US centered on that phrase and a significant portion of the ‘uneducated’ masses would eat it up.

Not a good year for Starbucks

• Done away with the true espresso machines in favor of instant espresso dispensors.

• Changed the standard milk used espresso from whole milk to low fat. Now if you want whole - you gotta ask for it.

• Using Cheaper Beans, the latest from China

• And the coup de grace - these are popping
up everywhere. There coffee sucks, but who cares.
