No, but they are identified and arrested because they trafficed in pedophilic material, which is still against the law. They didn't commit the act of pedophilia but their arrest has nothing to do with being a "thought crime." I think you're seeing something that isn't there.
I used to think that.

Though I agree, from what I understand, he interviewed people who did the deeds but didn’t actually perform the torture. Maybe I’m wrong and I’ve read where people believe he must have done it himself because his knowledge seems to be first hand. I disagree. Pedophilia is supported by most, if not all sodomites. It’s the only way they can replicate themselves. 30 years ago, the chances of open homos being public school teachers seemed to be zero. Now, public schools have a blatant sodomite agenda.
The fact that the government is arresting more pedophiles isn’t evidence of cracking down. It’s evidence of more pedophiles. Some of these people vote and they already have the backing of the sodomites. There all going to come out together in due time.

So it just ain't gonna happen - it's not even on the radar.
As for comparison with the legal status of adults who want to have sex with other adults of the same sex, that's about the behavior of consenting adults.
That's a very different issue than adults having sex with children - especially children who are pre-teen and younger - who most everyone agrees by definition are incapable of giving informed consent for sexual activity.
So the valid analogy is not to consensual sex of any kind between adults, it's to non-consensual sex. That is, to rape - committed against someone of either sex and any age.
So while I'd agree that while I may live to some dramatic changes in "marriage" - for example all you have to do is look at the voter demographics to see that homosexual unions of some sort are on the way in many areas of the country - you are pretty hard pressed to find anyone outside of the more bizarre confines of academia and a handful of activist pedophiles who are calling for legalizing adult-child sex of any sort, which virtually everyone agrees would be about as reasonable as lowering the driving age to six, and for the same reasons.
It doesn’t take a bill in congress. All it takes is one judge. Our supreme court thinks foreign laws apply to us and the age of consent in Spain is 13. What is it in Asian countries? They already cite outdated Jamaican law. I wonder what the law is in the Sudan.
Look, I hope it doesn’t happen but our country has lost all ability to make moral decisions and this surely is one.

I’m only surprized that legalized child sex is not the norm at this time.
20-30 years ago, we NEVER would be debating gay marriages and all the other special rights for homosexuals, yet here we are.

People who normally could deal with a murderer or rapist of an adult have a completely different view when it comes to a child, and rightfully so.

Beastiality won’t be too far behind. I think it was last year they made a movie about people who REALLY love horses. This was just after that dude got killed trying to get mounted by one.

Some conservatives seem to believe that we will eventually reach a point where liberals are satisfied. We’ll reach a point where libs will look around and say, “We’ve accomplished all our goals, we can relax now in our liberal utopia”.
But as Robert Bork and others have noted, that time never arrives. Every time our society moves to the left, a cry immediately arises to go further to the left. Passions for things such as equality and self-indulgence can never be fulfilled, because the more egalitarian and narcissistic we become, the more glaring the remaining inequities and unsatisfied lusts appear.
So the widespread acceptance of same sex “marriage” will simply lead to a demand for something else, something not even on the radar screen right now. It might be polygamy, or human-animal “marriage”, or adult-child relationships.
After all, the very idea behind same sex “marriage” is that the well-being of children is secondary to the sexual desires of adults. Liberals are already perfectly willing to place children in homosexual households and subject them to homosexual scoutmasters on camping trips.
There is never any end to liberal demands. Several states have recently (and stupidly) apologized for slavery. The result? The NAACP and other such groups announced that it didn’t go far enough and issued new demands. If we give California to La Raza, they’ll demand Texas.
The rise of homosexuality will lead to further sexual demands, and further, and further....and it’s mindless to believe that children will be exempted from this. Already we toss condoms to them, sneak them across state lines for clandestine abortions, and teach them about sodomites while they’re still in elementary school.

Let me ask you this:
If a 14 year old is mature enough to give consent to another 14 year-old, why can’t they give it to a 19 year-old?
We have been toying with the idea of legalizing sex among kids. It’s just a matter of time before some lawyer jumps on this.

The people I know who were sexually molested have serious issue dealing with relationships.
There have been so many cases of judges giving no jail time to child molesters it makes me sick. I have even considered some of these judges are in on it. This is one topic bill o’reilly goes after,soft sentences of child molesters. Just a few months ago I told my husband one day it will be legal to have sex with children. He said no way but at the rate we are going it will happen. We have church leaders embracing homosexuals who are open with their sex life,even to the point of being clergy.
The age of consent in the rest of the world is gradually being lowered. There is a lot of pressure to do the same here.
It is happening. Remember that 20 years ago, homo marriage was unthinkable. Now we have Republican governors actually talking about ending marriage as a legal entity all together.
It is the inner spiritual wreckage which must be cleared in an evil so personal, in such a destruction of trust. Even when that is done, trust is a scarce commodity, trust of self, trust of others, even trust in God.
It was not God who did it, nor urged another to.
A tremendous amount of soul-searching and "Why me, God?" goes into the road back, and it helps to have friends who care. Ultimately, the blame lies with the victimizer, not the victim.
The realization that if not for one, there would have been another victim, goes a long way toward a person healing. It would have been done to anyone else, had all else been the same.
Some people win the lottery, others draw a bad hand. That is no reason for someone to flog themselves, but to free themselves of the hatred for the sick and tormented souls who have done this, and reserve that hatred for the act, the perversion, and the evil that sponsors it all.
It is all the more reason to become a protector of the innocent, to ask God to gird your loins in His armor and take up the sword of His Word and fight perversion, especially that which is aimed at those innocents who are most vulnerable.
