Ron Paul is Censored by Fox News According to Online Analysis
Trans World News ^ | 9/5/2007 | USA Election Polls

(FReeper thread from earlier today: Ron Paul Will Win Debate But Be Discredited)
[FOX News just declaired Ron Paul the winner in tonights debate....but Ron Paul's win has been discredited by Hannity]

Now to the article......:

Washington D.C.:

An analyst at USAElectionPolls.com has recently published the frequency the top news sources mention each of the Republican candidates. As expected, the top tiered candidates were mentioned most often but by how much varied.

Their analysis found that the New York Times, USA Today, and CBS News were the fairest of all the news sources analyzed. The biggest "culprit" according to the web site was Fox News -- mentioning the Top 3 candidates almost five times as frequent as all the other candidates combined.

There were 13,000 references to Mitt Romney, 6,570 references to Rudy Giuliani, and 4,060 references to John McCain on the Fox News domain according to the Google searches that USAElectionPolls.com performed. Ron Paul was referenced the least of all candidates - 248 times.

The results suggest that Fox News mentions Mitt Romney in articles more than 50 times as frequent as they do Ron Paul. USAElectionPolls.com calls it "absurd" and continues on to say that in "no other news source is the disparity as large as it is on Fox News".

If the media is limiting their coverage of things that Ron Paul has to say, then they’re doing him a favor in the Republican Primary. The more people hear him, the less they’re inclined to support him. I used to support him, but he’s clearly lost his mind and I can’t see how any Republican can support him now.

I never figured you to be against the Iraq war. ?

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Ron Paul's opposition to the Iraq War is the deal breaker for me.

I’m sick of RP and his “blame America first” act.

“FOX News just declaired Ron Paul the winner in tonights debate”...an online news poll.

BTW, they don’t much talk about Dewey either.

Ron Paul is the GOP Howard Dean. He’s the wannabe Republican Kucinich. Sure he’s sincere, but is sincerely nuts enough?

After listening to Ru Paul in this debate, he should be censored and censured. What a moron.

Wow. People REALLY don’t like him. He will go away soon enough. He is the best at “trying” to follow the Constitution . I was shocked though when I saw he is a porker too (and says it’s OK cause it’s for his district...) NEVER had a chance, but has been one of the more interesting candidates. All the others are flip-floppers except for Thompson, RudyG and uncan DHunter. Of those, I would have wished Hunter got more play. He’s been ignored from what I can see (in the non-internet world).

Who the hell are all these Ron Paul supporters?

Ron Paul is a delusional megalomaniac. Anyone who supports him after that embarrassing performance at tonights debate is delusional as well.

I was more or less ambivalent to Ron Paul before tonight's debate, but at this point, I think he needs to be removed from the Republican party. I do not think that any of the other candidates should be forced to share a stage with this maniac. He demeaned everyone at that debate by his mere presence.

It looks like each presidential lineup from here on will have a comic relief candidate.

Yep, and ours is Guiliani trying to pass himself (no pun intended) as a conservative.

Finally some proof of what I've been saying here before. Fox News is obsessed with Romney, Giuliani, McCain and (soon) Thompson. It's like the RNC faxed them and told them to only talk about those republican candidates only.

SPAM

Not nearly as much so as you whining in every Ron Paul thread about the thread being "spam".

The only real spam is you posting "spam" on at least two different Ron Paul threads tonight.

anybody who thinks C-BS News, USA Today and NY Times are the most fair has already ended their credibility for anything else.

I think Ron Paul would love FR actually, very little moderating would appeal to his libertarian side and I think he is embarrassed by his most vocal supporters quite often.

He’s seriously nuts. He provided the comic relief for the debate tonight. Unfortunately, it’s embarrassing for the Republican Party. They need to give him the boot.
