Look at the members of the committee, it is almost guaranteed to pass out of the committee with those members.

Just enforce the laws already on the books. We don’t need anymore damn immigration legislation to muddy the waters.

Amnesty?? No, no you must have it wrong — they considering a bill concerning “regularizing immigration such that it supports both security and a vibrant economy.”

Doesn’t say a thing about amnesty.

That’s because without these ‘immigrants’ we won’t have a vibrant economy. ‘They’ told me so.

The "Security Through Regularized Immigration and a Vibrant Economy (STRIVE) Act" contains most of the provisions of the bill that came out of the Senate Judiciary Committee last year with additional "triggers" added that would insure that the border security aspects of the bill were working before any legalization of the current undocumented population could begin. Additionally, a "touchback" provision was added requiring some undocumented immigrants to leave the country and re-enter before normalizing their status. Bottom line: this is the same amnesty crap the Senate tried to force down our throats.
