This is not surprising. The Episcopalians have accepted New Jersey’s fruity ex-Governor as a seminarian.

"Penland, who has been a youth minister at the Boca Raton church since November..."
Another pervert angling to get around kids. Why am I not surprised - disgusted but not surprised.

Forget it, Richie. This is the Church that McGreevey joined, because the Catholic Church wasn’t gay enough. This priest will be celebrated by all, including the five Episcopalians who actually live in Boca.

If you preach against sin enough, your problems will fix themselves. If you preach against racism, the racists will leave or get straight. If you preach against adultery, the adulterers will leave or get straight. Your church will be smaller but you usually don’t have to worry about the youth pastor playing footsie in a restroom with another man.

Amen, Appy. This is one of the reasons I am generally sceptical about the mega-churches. I know some are good Christian churches, but many are willing to tailor their meesage to accomodate the world, all for the love of mammon. I much prefer a church where the Pastor knows the name of everyone in the congregation - and notices if any of them miss church several Sundays in a row.

This is the fault of all those reactionary, right wing Neanderthals.
If they wouldn't be so vocal and judgmental, it wouldn't be necessary to sneak around, hiding the truth...
Who can argue that bringing in this man fron the cold would not be the moral, Christian thing to do?
(sound of retching...you know someone will say this.)
