I guess we should be grateful it’s not a clear majority, eh? You can thank the turds at 9/11 Truth for commissioning the poll; SLC spotted it earlier and has since been digesting the numbers. Spend some time with the data, paying special attention to question 402 starting on page 5 of the PDF. The results run on for several pages as Zogby breaks it down by age, region, religious belief, even gun ownership. The data for party affiliation comes on page 8. Here’s the most interesting bit, though, which I’ve taken the liberty of screencapping and highlighting. Click for large size:
The left has been downright giddy about its stranglehold on the youth vote, but note well the caliber of voter they’re attracting there. Note the result for Hispanics, too. I suspect there’s a fair amount of disgruntlement over unrelated issues, i.e. immigration, bleeding over into perceptions of 9/11 here, maybe not unlike many on the right extrapolating from the Clintons’ general loathsomeness that they must have had Vince Foster whacked. As for the data on Asians, though, I’m at a loss as to how to explain it. Is that immigration backlash too? Are they including south Asians, like Pakistanis, in the group? Hmm.

If they polled me they would find out that I think the Clintons actually helped plan it. Now what do you think of that? After all, they appointed their people who hired people to work for the CIA, Hillary was the Senator of New York City and Barbara Olsen, whose plan crashed into the Pentagon was the author of the book HELL TO PAY. So now what? It’s just like those radicals, accuse your enemies of what you are guilty of. Plus, lets not forget about the pardons of terrorists, the campaign money from our enemies the Chinese. The Clinton’s had lots of motives and opportunites, by contrast, Bush had no motive at all. Anyone who pardons and takes money from terrorists and takes money for the Communists are capable of anything.

I think about 40% of Americans are democrats so thats about 16% of the population who believe this.

The answer is "yes, they consider Pakistanis and Indians as 'Asians'".
Indians tend to take the Democrat view of things. SE Asians are conversely more conservative than native Americans. Take 9 Indians and 1 Filipino and get a liberal answer. 9 Filipinos and 1 Indian will give you the polar opposite.

This shows us, the Americans, that rank and file Democrats can no longer be thought of differently from their party’s leadership. They are obviously all the same. We can’t just say “Well it’s not the guy next door who is the problem; it is the Democrat leadership that is the problem.” We must be honest and say “They really are the party of the enemy from top to bottom. They are aiding those who would murder us.”
There was a thread yesterday that the 911 truthers who paid for this poll claimed that 51% of all respondents wanted Bush/Cheney impeached over it.

For instance, Bush is supposed to have planted demolition charges in the WTC to bring down the towers, and the planes were just meant for "cover". But this would require coordinating a demolition team with the hijackers, and a considerable chance of plans going awry from unforeseen causes. In fact, the hijackers of Flight 93 failed to reach their own objective because of a takeoff delay that gave the passengers time to understand and react to their plans.
Real life plans seldom come off as written, in contrast to those in fiction. And this is the crux of the matter. Conservatives base their judgements on experience of real life (that's why we're conservative); liberals are more influenced by "experiences" derived from their massive mental diet of fiction, where conspiracies of the WTC sort are staples, and not coincidentally, the only place where they can work.
Live in your mama's basement, spend half the normal working day in bed and the rest at the coffee shop, read avant-garde novels, watch bad TV, and believe that Karl Rove steered Katrina into NOLA with his secret weather machine. It's all of a piece.

As positive as I might try and be, I read this and once again I’m convinced, it’s really only a matter of time, this country is finished... Oh the country may survive but it will never come close to what it once was and even what it is today.
More and more people are just too plain stupid and too damn lazy to do anything but what the MSM programs them to do. We are becoming a nation of robots with their hands out, demanding the government take care of all their needs.

I have thought this for many years. It is really beginning to show now with their opinions on 9-11, Iraq & Afghanistan, Iran, NK, lack of support for the USA and public agreement with the lesser elements in the world, man made global warming, unquestioning support for the UN, and many other issues.
This is possibly a good thing in the long run as the political "middle" people take notice. In the short term, it makes for instability and chaos.

Rather than reading the blogger’s take on the poll, people should read the poll itself. It’s a wacky poll. According to the poll, 26% of conservatives believe the same thing as this 42%. And a third of weekly Wal-Mart shoppers do, too.
Although I admit, the 11% "made it happen" for libertarians is more than double even the liberals. So 11% of libertarians are confirmed kooks.
The "let it happen" crowd is responding to a broadly worded question, though. If someone believed that the government didn't do enough to try and prevent the attacks, then they would fall into the "let it happen" camp.
Does this not really cement the perception that not only Democrat Party leaders are America’s enemies but almost half of their followers are too?? Good heavens, we have a voting populace of knaves and fools.
