I’m with ya. Also, I’ll risk the cancer and stick to Tide and Bounce.I’ll be damned if I’m going to wash my clothes in something called “soap nuts”!

I had a bad case of melanoma about 20 years ago. When I saw him list sunblock and then try to tell me that it can cause cancer I knew this guy was crazy. Most of the things listed are bad for kids, but not in moderation. If people want to drink this guy’s kool-aid then they can have at it, personally I believe he went completely off the deep end myself.

I agree lead paint is not an issue IF kids are watched over carefully. I used to play with lead soldiers—as have kids for generations (No, I didn’t chew on them). We survived...and massive neurological damage was not prevalent 40+ years ago—AMONG PROPERLY WATCHED KIDS.
If, however, this guy really believes his list, he’s a bigger fruitcake then the lead paint alarmists.
Junk science just isn’t attractive on the left, or the right.

they completely ignore (for example) the toxic mercury that dentists continue to place into the mouths of young children all across the country.AAAAH-OOOOO-GAH. BS meter just pegged. Not only is there no scientific evidence that amalgam filling cause any harm, almost all State Dental licensing boards regard any dentist who removes amalgam fillings as guilty of unprofessional conduct.

Are there any dentists using silver fillings anymore?
I think most use porcelain.

I used to dip my fingers in liquid mercury in science class. So did all my classmates. Not a one of us has suffered any ill effects after nearly 40 years.

so I'll skip the rest. I'll summarize for you. Everything is bad, bad, bad.
We're all gonna die.

I was doing ok until I got to the 2nd item in the list. Then I started checking to see if this was a parody.
I have too much of a headache to deal with the rampant idiocy displayed herein.

I am not taking a possition on this thread, but I do wonder
if it is all that horrible, why does our life span keep gaining. From what Mr. Adams says, we should all be dying like flies.
As for the lead scare, I think it is all BS.
I grew up in the 40s and 50s when our houses were painted inside and out with lead paint.
If I am not mistaken, some early water systems used lead pipes.
With the Chink toys, I find it hard to believe that a kid would get anything close to a dangerous level of lead unless he ate a whole damn case of them.

I have a brand new (2 hours old) silver filling in my back molar. It was cheaper than the “white” filling and lasts longer too.

And not one of them will get out of this world alive. However, many of them will continue to vote in Chicago for several generations.
