What the "Fed Heads" and his detractors fail to ever mention, is why FT is where he is in the polls.

Without a doubt he has "curb appeal." Part of that is he is taller than the other candidates and has a baritone voice. Research has shown taller leaders usually prevail in contests--think George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Deep voices signify strength and, especially, if they have a regional affectation.

Thus far, the Fed Heads seem to be stuck. All they see is he is prolife, claims to want to kick the Mexicans (illegals) back to Mexico. He could be a cyclops as far as they are concerned.

FT's other strength is performance on Paul Harvey radio. His comments and analysis were quite good.

I still see him as seriously flawed--he is a consumate insider's insider in Washington DC and can't raise money. His service in the US Senate was not exceptional and did not validate him as a leader. Finally, although no one is willing to discuss it, this man has an Indolent Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He has received chemotherapy and radiation for this and claims (along with his oncologist) no problem in running for President. In actual fact, he has an ongoing cancer even if it is, as described, "indolent." If it is a follicular type that has spread, it is likely he will have an exacerbation within 5-10 years (according to data from a Goggle search) In the meantime, the Fed Heads are quite emotional and prone to ad hominem argumentation. Just proves that Drew Weston's The Political Brain was on target as to the true motivators of the electorate.

Well, let’s see.

N.H. chose John Mccain in 2000.

N.H. chose John Kerry in 2004.

New Hampshire is looking toward a Democrat Senator, and where there are Republicans, they are increasingly altering their rhetoric to be liberally appealing.

Why should I care whether he takes N.H.? I don’t think he should dismiss it, but they aren’t as important as they’ve set themselves to be either.

And, the same bright eyed “leaders” in the state that have allowed Democrats to make gains in their state are NOT the people that should be giving him advise if he wants to win anyway. By all means, GO to N.H. But go to the people and speak conservatism. Educate them. But don’t kowtow to the Liberals in N.H. nor the leadership that has done little to nothing to combat that liberal movement inward.

As for Fox? Fox is holding fundraisers for Hillary, pimping Rudy, slavishly devoted to wall street’s dream of no borders and NO friend to conservatives of late. If they got ticked off that he didn’t show at their debate, good. I feel no more need to soothe their ruffled feathers then i do NBC, CBS or ABC at this point. heck, I actually feel more favoably disposed to CBS lately just because of the fairer Iraq piece they did the past week.

IMHO, it is retarded that the New Hampshire primary is considered to be sooooo important. No offense to New Hampsters (lol), but the state is a very small fraction of the country. It is just a freak accident of history that they are first and therefore prominent among the primaries.

New Hampshire is now irrelevant.

Fred chose to preach to the heathens rather than the choir. The choir will hear many sermons while every opportuntiy to preach to masses of the heathens must be capitalized on.

The margin of votes that win the election will come from heathens, not the choir.

Nationally, most of his early performance reviews have been abysmal.

>70 posts, and nobody rises to defend Fred against this accusation?

Does that mean that Fred's early performances have been abysmal? Entering late without organization or money, FDT especially needs to immediately impress in person and on television. If he can't do that, there is nothing to base his candidacy on. The Fred phenomenon will be, as is a comet, remarkable but transitory.
