While sexy celebrities and media darling candidates suck up all the airtime, Duncan Hunter is the strong, honorable, character driven true conservative presidential candidate. It appears that a gentleman who says what he means and means what he says without dancing the political two step isnt stimulating enough for the over stimulated drive by media.
Keynote at a Lincoln dinner, Hunter did not give the typical vote for me because Im wonderful and will give you stuff speech. Recently back from Iraq, Hunters humility, love for his country and respect for our troops compelled him to enthusiastically share numerous stories of bravery and honor by our troops.
Hunter also spoke prideful and lovingly about his family. Talking about himself almost seemed a chore for Hunter. Most presidential wannabee super size egos prevent them from speaking about anything else.
Though he is not the flashiest guy in the running, Hunter is obviously a candidate of character, honesty and wisdom. Years ago, he fought for, won and began building the border fence. Like Gary Cooper in the classic movie, High Noon, Hunter stands alone remaining steadfast and unwavering in his firm commitment to defend our borders. In an ever increasingly dangerous world, with a prayer and Duncan Hunter in the White House, I could sleep well at night.

I like DH. FDT and he will make a good matchup.

DH is the best guy out there. He also has the work ethic to defeat the Hildebeast. So far, I can’t say the same about Fred Thompson, the annoited conservative.

Clue to MSM, THAT IS sexy.
This is probably more of a chick ping...but B4DH
Duncan Hunter is a good conservative, just not a good presidential candidate. His campaign is stuck in neutral and going nowhere.
Oh stop with all of that already. We are talking about who is sexier.

INDEED!
Edwards is BravoTV sexy.
:P
>Clue to MSM, THAT IS sexy.<
YES, indeed!
Could you even imagine being with a man that spent more at the salon then you ever did???? That is creepy!
::shakes head::
Hunter is the quintessential eye candy for the conservative woman!
AMEN to that! :)
I watched O’Reilly just to see Mr. Hunter and he is quite handsome. He looked great. I just wished BOR would’ve let him talk more.
It’s very frustrating that he is not discussed more in the media. We still have a while to go before the election. Maybe something will happen.
I’m praying everyday! He would be a great president.
I think he’s supposed to be on Glenn Beck today.
Yup! :)
I just watched him on Glenn Beck. He’s going to be on Glenn’s radio show tomorrow discussing a pissed off Michael Chertoff. Mr. Hunter said it was “Good” that Chertoff was pissed. It’s regarding comments made by Glenn, I think.
FYI anyone, Glenn’s show repeats at 6pm and 2am pacific time on CNN’s Headline News channel.
“Duncan Hunter doubled the totals of the next-closest candidate, garnering 534 of approximately 1,400 votes cast. Fred Thompson came in second with 266 votes, and Paul rounded out the top three with 217 votes.
Here are all the results:
Duncan Hunter: 534
Fred Thompson: 266
Ron Paul: 217
Mike Huckabee: 83
Rudy Giuliani: 78
Mitt Romney: 61
Ray McKinney: 28
John Cox: 10
John McCain: 8
Sam Brownback: 6
Tom Tancredo: 6
Hugh Cort: 3”

Wow, that nails it!

Yes, it would be great if the media would discuss him more. Lately he’s been getting more interviews, and hopefully it will snowball.
And yes, he sure DID look handsome!!
CaliGirl-R and Lloyd Marcus—
Very well said!
I just returned from a (I guess its is a) RINO site newsbusters.org, and all they could do (save for 2 out of the 40-odd posters) is fall over themselves scurrying about in a desperate attempt to prop up FT as “the conservative who can win”. Then I received (7:10 pm PDT) a cold call from “Friends of Fred Thompson” back in the “(615)” area...in Tennessee. The FT hordes are pulling out the stops.
It’s time we Hunterites did the same thing.
Fred keeps neglecting to mention his involvement with the Reagan campaigns or conservative causes. I’d like to know more about them. As a guy who worked in the 76 and 80 Reagan campaigns, I remember a vigorous 69 year old whose record indicated precisely what he wanted to do. In 2007 I’m seeing a tired old man.
