Ditto. I don't think they calculated the response to 9/11 correctly. I don't think they can calculate the response to killing a school filled with children either . . . I sure can't, except that there will be a lot of very angry Americans that aren't angry now.
Pretty sobering stuff. It does kind of amaze me that we put our kids on school buses every day and few of us ever really know the drivers or have any idea if they are trained to do anything if the bus is ambushed. My son catches a bus to middle school at 7:00 a.m. and I have never even seen his bus driver. I'm embarrassed to admit that.
I'm pretty confident about the security in my kids' schools, and there are so few Middle Eastern types in my area that any of them showing up near a school near a bus would be suspicious. But the buses are totally exposed. I can just imagine bus full of 10-year-olds paralyzed with fear while a terrorist jumped on the bus and threw the driver out the door and took off with the kids to do god-knows-what. A lot of kids have cell phones now, but would any of them have the wits to use them in a situation like that?

This is a MUST see for everyone ... the terrorists are profiling our schools, buses, etc. ... to bring terror to our dear children and grandchildren.

"GLENN: Now, Brad, I wanted -- I just want to point out that what we're talking about is not just a bunch of think tankers saying, ooh, this could happen. This is really coming from hard evidence that our Government really does not want us to know per se. I mean, they've been alerting people, but they're been doing cryptically because they don't want widespread panic."
THOR: Well, we talked about things. First of all, we based it on this Al-Qaeda model of being like a shark, how they swim big concentric circles. They don't come right in and bite you.
They collect Intel, getting closer and closer, tighter and tighter in the circles. But before they attack, before they take the bite, they come up and they bump you. They want to see are you a threat, are you going to put up a fight, or can we get you. And that's what we're seeing across the country with the two Saudi Arabian men.
I talked to people in that investigation down in Florida, in the Tampa area, the two Saudi men that boarded that school bus and wouldn't get off and all that kind of stuff where there was a strong feeling among people involved in that investigation that that was a dry run. We see this, we see school buses missing, 17 in Texas. We see thousands of school bus radios missing in the Northwest, the Pacific Northwest.
We find, in the course of this investigation, I talked with -- it would blow your mind how many law enforcement departments I talked to that have interrupted active surveillance on schools across the country. The dots are there.
GLENN: So tonight -- first of all let me just tell this story again. In Iraq we found a diskette that had a -- that had downloaded all of the Department of Education security measures, and they're all available online.
THOR: Not only a diskette, Glenn, but that disk was on an Iraqi who was arrested in a terrorism raid, an Iraqi with known ties to active Islamic terrorism.
GLENN: Okay. Well, that makes it even happier. So the diskette has basically our emergency procedures in our schools and what the Department of Education says you've got to be ready for and this is what you do in case. So there's another sign that they're studying us.
THOR: Yes.
GLENN: The next thing that we found in Iraq again was eight different schools. Tell me where these schools were and what we found.

THOR: Okay. What was found in an insurgent, an Al-Qaeda affiliated safehouse over in Iraq, they were school blueprints, basically, floor plans for schools across the country. San Diego, California, West Salem, Oregon, Boyertown, Pennsylvania, schools in Texas, Virginia, New Jersey, and this was very, very disconcerting and there was a cover story that was concocted that, hey, this was just some Iraqis who were involved with the Ministry of Education in Iraq and they're looking to rebuild their schools and all that kind of BS.
GLENN: Unbelievable. I mean, who would buy that, that they come to us to look at the architectural plans of schools all around the country, six or eight -- I mean, were these remarkable schools, architecturally speaking, Brad?
THOR: No, no, it wasn't incredible Frank Lloyd Wright but it shows you how desperate the FBI is to get to the -- they are desperate. They are working so hard to prevent this from happening. That's one thing I want your listeners to know is that they do not want this to happen. They are working hard, but at the same time they are trying to prevent people from panicking.
GLENN: Right.
THOR: And it's a real delicate balancing act that those who keep us safe have to juggle.
GLENN: I will tell you this. The frustration and the reason why we're exposing this is not because we don't feel the Government is doing their job. Quite the opposite. The Government is doing their job on this. They don't have all of the dots.
They just have it -- it's exactly like September 11th. What did you know and when did you know it. Well, we knew that they were trying to do pilots but who would have thought that they were going to do it into the World Trade Center? We didn't know that piece. We're in exactly the same situation.
THOR: Well, and what's amazing, Glenn, is as I've done this investigation and I've talked to my sources and you talk to one who says, well, I've got somebody else who's fed up with the foot-dragging here and you need to talk to him and you need to talk to her, a lot of the reticence to implementing plans that can keep our kids safe, believe it or not, are coming from the schools themselves.
GLENN: Yeah. Well, that's because -- and this goes to what I was saying just a little while before you came on, that's because a lot of these schools are in the heartland, they're in small communities and they think, oh, well, nothing will happen here. You are the bigger target than New York City on this particular case, right?
THOR: Exactly. In one of the things that we're seeing here is that they are looking for the softest targets possible, and that means when you're looking at schools in the heartland, you look at how long it takes from a 911 phone call to getting a tactical team, not just patrol officers but a tactical team on site, and in a lot of places that takes a long time, especially if you have a multijurisdictional swat team.
So what these terrorists are looking for from the stuff that's been recovered, and tonight on your CNN Headline News program, we're going to have John Giduck on who wrote the book terror at Beslan who wrote the book, the dress rehearsal.
Bin Laden has said what we did in Russia, we will visit 100 times worse in America.
He's even gotten a religious edict allowing him to kill up to two million American children and what they are looking for is a school where the girls are old enough to rape and the boys are too small to fight back.
GLENN: Okay. I asked you, I just talked to a woman about a half hour ago. She said she watched last night's special with her 14-year-old son. I ask you that you do not have your kids watch tonight. Tonight is really horrific stuff. I mean, tonight is -- and correct me if I'm wrong, Brad. You've seen much more of this than I have. It's "Take your breath away" evil stuff.
THOR: Glenn, I have a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old and I've known John Giduck for a little bit who's going to be on tonight, John Giduck is going to reveal things on your show tonight that I'm going to bet you 99.9% of your audience has never heard before and it's, it's actually going to even be difficult for me to sit through it tonight because it's that bad.
GLENN: Okay. Now, there's two things, also. One, there was something else that -- Stu, just remind me, football games and buses, will you? ADD moment. There was -- hang on just a second, Brad.
THOR: Sure.
GLENN: I want to go back to Pakistan because there was something else that we touched on last night and we didn't play this tape.
We were only cleared to play a few seconds of it. I'm going to try to expand that and put it on tomorrow's newsletter so you can see it.
There's eight hours of tape that we found in Pakistan in another Al-Qaeda training camp, eight hours of tape where they made a mock American school.
The guy, the terrorists came in and they took mock American students, they took one little boy and they shot him in the head immediately and then in English said, "Now follow our directions exactly."
It's how to take over an American school. It's eight hours of tape. Only an hour of it has been seen by American law enforcement officials here in America. We've only seen part of it. What else is on this eight, the eight hours? What is this?

I thought the part about the training videos of taking over a school (with AQ giving the commands in English) was rather chilling.
He also said something about missing radios, I don’t know how that would play into the scenario.
I’m going to try to watch the rest of the week. I heard him briefly on the radio the other day, and he was giving instructions to parents what you should or shouldn’t do if it happens.
One interesting thing he said was if you see it happen at a school in Oregon, for instance, and you’re in Atlanta, go pick up your kid (make any excuse) but get your kid out of school. I think he mentioned that once it starts happening at your school, don’t go to the school because AQ intends to target bystanders waiting outside of a school that’s under attack.

They screwed up bigtime with Beslan, which is why I don’t think they will try it again here. Beslan got George Bush reelected in 2004. If they want a more pro-Muslim president to be elected here next year, they would not be stupid enough to attack us again.

There were buses stolen recently in my area...and the authorities are all over this....and extremely concerned!!!

Great idea doug, thanks. We, the people can get ahead of this and do our part to prevent it as well.
We have no way of knowing how long ago those terrorist tapes were made, how many of the jihadis in them are already dead at the hands of Coalition forces (my guess -- about 75% of them), or how long that CD with the school plans had been in the possession of the Iraqi on whom it was found. That story is over a year old, too.
Osama, or whoever is pretending to be Osama, is trying to make us all think another big attack is coming. Doesn't mean one is.
I love Glenn Beck but I think he may be just a little overboard here. Some of ths stuff just plays into the hands of the leftists who think Beck and his ilk are doing the bidding of Bush, trying to keep us all scared like sheep so the Bush brownshirts can take away more of our liberties.

But from what I understand what put this in the forefront was the recent reports of stolen school buses.

Maybe the Moslems should be careful...and if they have any brains, they will consult with some of the 85+ year old Japanese regarding what this country can do when it is pissed off. Just a reminder - we firebombed or otherwise razed the largest part of dozens of cities (including the nuking of 2) in Japan because they killed about 2,500 personnel in our armed forces. What do these evil bastards think we'll do if they murder our children?

Two Saudi men arrested for boarding school bus to Wharton High School
"The two men "initially told deputies they were from Morocco, but later admitted to being from Saudi Arabia," the sheriff's office said.
"They told authorities they are enrolled at the English Language Institute at the University of South Florida. The defendants gave several versions of the reason they took a school bus to a high school, among those being they wanted to enroll in easier English language classes."
Investigators say the two arrived in the United States about six months ago and are required to be enrolled at the English Language Institute.
A sheriff's spokesman say they are registered students at the university."

School Bus Terrorism - A Practical Analysis

Mohamad El Zahabhi
The clearest direct threat to the nation’s school transportation system is the case of Mohamad Kamal El Zahabhi, a Lebanese national who has worked at various times as a Boston cab driver, a New York City auto mechanic, and a Minnesota school bus driver for First Student, a private contracting firm that provides bus service to schools across the country.
While it is not clear whether his service as a bus driver was just one of many jobs that he held while in the U.S. or if it was part of an attempt to gain access to a school bus, his history gives us concern.
He first came to the U.S. in 1984, and paid a Texas woman to marry him so he could obtain his green card. After divorcing and admitting to fraud in 1988, he traveled to Afghanistan where he attended a terrorist training camp and later served as a sniper in combat in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
He also told FBI agents that he had served as an instructor at a jihadist school. During this time he allegedly met with a few notable individuals, including Khalid Sheikh Muhammed, one of the originators of the 9/11 plot, and Abu Musab al Zarqawi.
After being injured in combat, el Zahabhi returned to New York City, where he worked with a relative at Drive Axle Rebuilders, a business that he used to order and ship to Afghanistan large quantities of heavy-duty field radios.
While radios of the same type have been found by U.S. troops in Afghanistan, he denies knowledge of the shipments, saying that he never opened the packages that he was transferring. After serving as a cab driver in Boston from 1997 to 1998, he traveled again to Chechnya to serve in combat.
Returning to the U.S. in 2000, he moved to Minneapolis and on September 11, 2001 applied for a job as a bus driver with First Student.
He had previously obtained his CDL and a HazMat certification under his Massachusetts driver’s license, and passed an FBI background check. The FBI declines to comment as to why he was cleared, since the case is under investigation.
After starting as a driver in late 2001, el Zahabhi failed to report to work after the winter break and was fired in January 2002. He returned in February 2002 and asked for his job back, but was denied.
While his intentions are not clear, his ties to al Qaeda members and activities gives rise to concern – for example the assistance he gave to Raed Hijazi, the man convicted of the failed millennium bombing plot in Jordan, when he allowed Hijazi to use his address in Massachusetts to receive mail and obtain a drivers license.
He is currently being charged with lying to the FBI about this incident, along with other details.
Even if el Zahabhi did not intend to assist with or carry out a school attack, the fact that a jihadist combat veteran was able to become a bus driver in the U.S. is a sign of severe security gaps."

In WW2, with an economy far more dependent upon labor to produce goods of all types, we raised armed forces of 16 million from a population of 130 million. That's 12.3% of the population. Now we have nearly 300 million and far higher productivity in factories, farms and mines. Let's be REALLY conservative and estimate that 8% of the population volunteers and/or is drafted: 24 million. You saw what 150,000 did to Saddam's army - well, we've got LOTS more where they came from.
Go ahead, Moslems, let your radicals murder our children. You will see, and be the recipients of, the most awful Hell that Mankind can conceive of, and that the most technologically advanced, richest ($13+ Trillion GDP this year) and most pissed-off nation in recent history can deliver. Hanging back and letting local LEOs try to handle this actually plays into their hand. A semi-suicidal mob rush ending with the take down and humiliation of the perps on Aljezera does not.
Disperse the kids immediately and bum rush the losers. We are the militia.
Then water board them in a public toilet until they tearfully confess to being Mr. Bean. Upload the video to youtube, and by that time the FBI will be ready to take custody.
As Patton said, their are only three rules to war; Audacity, Audacity, and Audacity. We have enough experience with this exact event to know that “sheltering in place” and waiting for rescue is suicide.

Today members of our police force were walking outside our school building checking that all exit were locked from the inside.
We are also scheduled to have an intruder alert drill next week.
It really is spooky, because I recall a post by someone prior to school starting that over a dozen school buses were missing (I dont recall if it was nationwide or just in one district.)
