BOSTON - The states Republican party chief and the prominent brother of a Sept. 11 victim criticized Gov. Deval Patrick for saying at a memorial service the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people resulted "from a failure of human understanding."
Peter Torkildsen, a former member of Congress, said Wednesday the comments suggested society somehow misserved the terrorists.

Oooh, what a tough guy, Deval Patrick says the 9/11 attacks were "mean and nasty and bitter" -- he really knows how to talk tough about terrorism -- that's gentler than the names that the Demagogues call Republicans most days.... but then our Demagogues tend to hate all conservatives with a passion that they never feel toward the jihad terrorists who want to kill us all. I notice he cannot bring himself to think that the terrorists are EVIL or DEPRAVED or VICIOUS or MASS-MURDERERS. No, to people like Deval Patrick they are just poor victims of a misunderstanding ..... kinda like when your spouse hoped you'd buy one kind of holiday gift but you bought him/her something else.
The states Republican party chief and the prominent brother of a Sept. 11 victim criticized Gov. Deval Patrick for saying at a memorial service the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people resulted "from a failure of human understanding...."
...."Among many other things, 9/11 was a failure of human understanding."....
Presiding over the states memorial ceremonies for the first time, he also said: "It was a mean and nasty and bitter attack on the United States. But it was also about the failure of human beings to understand each other and to learn to love each other. It seems to me that lesson at that morning is something that we must carry with us every day."

News reports always talk about the corruption in New Jersey but Massachusetts's voters must be the the stupidest voters in the nation.
A Senator that killed a woman!
A Senator that took the enemy's side during an so called conflict not a war!
A Congressman that Ah never mind!

Well, it’s sad because many of the victims on the planes that crashed into the WTC were from Massachusetts obviously since the planes originated here. The surviving relatives were invited to this ceremony so I wonder what there reaction was.

ahhhhhhh but with the one exception, the brother on one of the pilots killed when terrorists took over the plane and flew it into the towers. He is a Republican running for Meahans seat, this year, and this year, he was not invited to speak.

Sure it was. That's why they flew two planes into the World Trade Center - because they were "misunderstood." Deval Patrick is a scumbag.

Liberals think if we understand evil people better, they will grow to love us. Most of us are sane enough to understand evil people should be killed before they kill another innocent. The liberal mindset is depraved in moral understanding.

Another quote from the commemoration:
“Fortunately, for human beings, the human heart is not designed to carry grief forever. Somehow we manage to move on and that might be in some ways our greatest strength. We live in a rare place, where our ideas, our shared goals, and our common humanity will and must be more powerful and must ultimately win out over intransigence and anger and violence and division.
Tempered by these losses, we will emerge a strong and better place. That is how we best serve the memories of those we love. We do that not in anger at the horror of their loss, but in honor of the beauty of their lives. We miss them not because they are gone, but because they were here.”
To: Andy'smom
That's macabre - coming from the same people who have unbridled rage, hate and anger towards President Bush that they can't let go of. But they have the chutzpah to stand there and lecture us about the need to let go of our anger and hate of those who murdered our loved ones and move on. I'm sure that's very moving, alright.

"the failure of human beings to understand each other and to learn to love each other"
Deval Patrick's words represent a fundamental failure to grasp the nature of jihad terrorism. His comments are farcical in light of what we actually do know about Al Qaeda and similar groups. We don't need the jihad terrorists to want to "understand" us or to "love" us..... we just need them to stop trying to KILL us all. They are never going to "love" us unless they stop being Muslim, because Islam does not contain any of the Christian emphasis upon loving others regardless of creed. The only thing they need to "understand" is that if they keep trying to kill us we will have to kill them first.

Talk show host Howie Carr really hit one out of the park when he mused about "failure of understanding" in a hypothetical conversation between moonbat Deval and Bin Laden or any other islamofascist. Who thinks the islamofascist would be tolerant enough to agree with Deval about the diversity value of gay marriage?
Anyone? Bueller?
The only, and I mean only, good thing about Deval Patrick is that he has been completely ineffectual in his new job. He was hailed by the moonbattery as the answer to everything and has accomplished squat. Seems he learned the real power in the corrupt Bay State lies in the state house and not in the corner office.
And the fact that he would make an excuse (that's what "failure of human understanding" said to me) for the savage murders of thousands of Americans makes him exactly what you said...a scumbag.

It would be nice if the Boston FD had some Irish-American gentlemen who could explain to Patrick what it was like to have lost your brothers on 9-11.
Then if those same Firefighters could just hand Patrick over to some of the brothers of the NYFD for... oh about half an hour. I think the lesson would be complete.
It would also show understanding as it would be the first time that Yankee and Red Sox fans agreed on something.

Patrick is right - he still doesn't understand that this isn't about George Bush, but about Islamic terrorists who want to kill or convert us no matter who is president.

Well of course the Dems/Libs reserve their true visceral hatred for the Republicans and conservatives - They are the ones preventing the Dems/Libs from assuming complete control, therefore conservatives are the most evil people in the world.
The Dems/Libs share the Muzzies views on peace and “getting along with others” - As long as THEY are in control, there will be peace (of a sort), just don’t forget your place and for god’s sake don’t forget that THEY are in control. Oh, and be sure to feel yourself properly “subdued” at all times.

Gov. Deval Patrick for saying at a memorial service the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people resulted "from a failure of human understanding." Well, he's right, in a way, but not the way he thinks he is. Remember that during the 1990s, when Clinton was President, we had a foretaste of what was in store for us. The Islamist murderers blew up the WTC back in '93 and Clinton called the cops. The blew up the USS Cole and killed our men in uniform and what did Clinton do? He called the cops. They blew up Khobar Towers and Clinton called the cops. They blew up our embassies and Clinton called the cops.
The so "failure of human understanding", as I see it, was a failure on the part of Clinton and the 'Rats to either understand that what we were dealing with were not matters of law enforcement, but acts of war, or, if they did understand that, their failure was to understand they had to act in such a way as to effectively deal with these acts of war. Their failure directly led to the planning and implementation of the actions of 9/11/2001. The barbarians got the message from the Clinton Administration's failure to act effectively against terrorists that Americans were soft and cowardly and would not defend themselves against an attack. That emboldened them to strike as they did.
So, in a way, Patrick is right that there was a "failure of human understanding", but that failure is his and his party's.
