Exclusive: Tristan Emmanuel whomps Kathy Griffin for 'blasphemous outburst'
Before Kathy Griffin won a creative arts Emmy last week for her reality show, "My Life on the D-List," she was a relative nobody in Tinseltown. Oh sure, she had some credentials a role as Brooke Shield's sour-grapes colleague in "Suddenly Susan," a cameo on "Seinfeld," an appearance on "Ellen" and a stint on "The View" in Rosie O'Donnell's chair. But like the title of her Bravo reality show inferred, Griffin was a D-list comedian at least until this award came her way. Griffin once mused that it would "take an award to get her star to move." Actually, truth be told, the award has very little to do with her sudden notoriety. In giving her acceptance speech, Griffin declared: "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus." Holding up her statuette, she added, "Suck it, Jesus! This award is my god now."

I know WND is a D-list web publication, but why are they even wasting electrons on Kathy Griffin?

A comedienne who isn’t funny; I can’t think of anyone in entertainment who is less relevant.

Seriously, who the hell is Kathy Griffin?

Me sitting here, not in tinsel town, not famous, not rich beyond the wildest dreams of avarice, will not bring Jesus into the picture either; but I don’t slam him for not being able to make me rich & famous as his girl suggests... She really is trash to frame this narrow, self-important, look-at-me response. Secular Hollywood will love it. But Jesus is not about that success or what Hollywood might eventually do to her... Maybe in the end he’ll help her pick up the pieces if things go wrong.

I saw her on TV once. Not funny, but profane, ignorant, and boring.

Kathy Griffin..... One of her on stage “I need applause” phrases is “where are my gays”
She is extremely popular with male hair dressers... after that it drops to close to no one likes her.
Bless her heart. Poor thing. She can’t get a real man.

Compared to (heh heh) 'counterpunch.org', WND is a premiere website.
As for Kathy Griffin, the reason WND is 'wasting electrons' on that demon-possessed sow is because SHE chose to waste a bunch of electrons offending Christians with her obscene comment regarding Jesus Christ.
Fortunately for this unfunny personality Griffin, there won't be any Christians calling for a jihad on her, or any leaders of Christianity issuing fatwas for her death, or bands of Judeo-Christian terrorists promising to lop off her head if they get the chance.
And after all, as long as WND can pay it's bills, they can 'waste electrons' on any damn thing they choose.

I don’t have anything to do with counterpunch.org.
I did have counterpunch.us for a while for my political parodies (you can see a few on my user profile page.)

That's nothing. You should have heard what she said about Jerry Seinfeld!

I have had very little exposure to any individual members of that particular denomination, nor have I heard much of their doctrine. I have no basis on which to form an opinion.
While I was raised and educated in parochial schools run by the Roman Catholic Church, I am by no means a doctriaire Catholic. I therefore do not automatically assume that people who belong to a particular denomination espouse all the tenents taught by their church.
If you wish to discuss the fine points of my personal Theology, I’d be happy to do that on FReepMail.

Sounds like Griffin has a problem with good Jewish boys.
