In his 9/11 commemoration speech, Patrick observed that while the attack on the World Trade Center was mean and nasty, (thats telling em, Deval!) the real tragedy of six years ago was the failure of human understanding.
Yes, 9/11 was, Patrick said a failure of human beings to understand each other, to learn to love each other. [Emphasis added.]
To find out what the victims of 9/11 didnt understand about the terrorists that might have prevented the attack, I turned to Debra Burlingame. Her brother, Chic, was the pilot of American Airlines [AMR] Flight 77 - the plane that hit the Pentagon.
When I first read Debra the governors remarks over the phone, her reaction was astonished silence. Can you read that again please?
I did. More silence.
Did he have the audacity to say that in front of grieving 9/11 family members? she asked, somewhat astonished...

Because among many other things, 9/11 was a failure of human understanding. It was mean and nasty and bitter attack on the United States. But it was also about the failure of human beings to understand each other, and to learn to love each other. And it seems to me that that lesson and that warning is something that we must carry with us everyday.

Is there any way we can expel the Democratic People’s Republic of Massachusetts from the United States?
BTW: This is one of things I hold against Mitt Romney; If he can get elected in the DPRM, then he probably isn’t suitable for President...

I sold my home in MA and left the scumbags State for good on 6/30. It is now 2.5 months later and I am beginning to feel cleansed and whole once again. The only thing about what is going on in that God forsaken State is that it is losing population. Hopefully the trend will continue and accelerate as the ever shrinking tax base causes the State to raise taxes ever higher to maintain their socialistic spending programs.

We in Massachusetts are shocked whenever we see tattoos on bodies. I wonder what is tattooed on Hillary, not that I want to see.

That is a fine example of the sort of imprecise, emotion-laden language that liberals always use when they are called upon to address themselves to Evil, but instead cannot bring themselves to admit that it exists.

Dead men tell no tales, but a live one, scared fecesless, will talk his head off. Ejecting Massachusetts from the US might just be that "upside the haid" slap that the rest of the liberal Northeast might need.
Mass is too small to be a country, and too large to be an insane asylum. Without Federal monies to prop up it's social programs, and all the actual taxable money from earned income headed for Vermont, the only source of income left would be Venezuela. While I would miss Kennedy and Kerry in the Senate, I think I could cope...

His Rodney Cant we all just get along? moment?............ This is more than just a "moment" for this clown -- he really believes this stuff.
Examples:
He previously ordered state police not to arrest illegal aliens, claiming that would distract them from law enforcement (I'm not kidding, or exaggerating....)
He wants the State college system to provide in-state discounts to illegals.

Dear Boston:
Thanks for American Airlines Flight 11. Thanks for United Airlines Flight 175. Thanks for your Red Sox being the only team in the Major Leagues that declined to offer 1 paycheck to 9/11 charities.
I’m not saying that Boston doesn’t care about, or is even the slightest bit responsible for the attack. I am, however, saying that nobody in NY could give a f-ck about opinions on the attacks from Boston or its politicians.
Sincerely, a guy sitting across the street from a giant hole in the ground right now.

Why don’t you complain to Chucky or Hillary. They are more to blame for 9/11, along with the likes of Kerry and Kennedy, than the City of Boston.

I agree, I was in Texas recently and a local radio talk show said this about Romney : He has a problem with 2 M’s. One is Mormon issue which he can get past, the other one is Massachusetts which is going to take him down as there is no fixing that. Romney is a decent guy and would make a good president but he is dead in the water because he is from the land of Kerry and Kennedy and now Deval Patrick.

It's not so much that Romney happens to be from MA, as that he was able to get elected there!
Either he believes what he had to say to get elected in MA, or he doesn't and believes in what he's saying now.
But which?

Schumer, Clinton, Kennedy, and Kerry are US Senators. The article was about the mayor of Boston blaming the victims of NY. As I said, I’m not blaming the citizens of Boston directly. I’m saying that the Mayor those citizens elected is particularly poorly qualified to be pointing fingers. And I am correct. When it comes to 9/11, Boston mayors would probably do well to keep thier mouths shut. The know they are playing to a very liberal audience, but they know they can’t “feel your pain.” Therefore, anything they say is going to end up pissing most people off.

Actually Deval Patrick is the Governor of Massachusetts, although the Mayor of Boston: Menino could very well make those statements. Because of his horrendous pronunciation, most people would not understand what he said so it may not have made the news. Deval Patrick speaks slowly and clearly and what he said clearly indicated his thought process : criminals are actually the victims and love and understanding can solve everything. Incidentally a giant mosque is being built in Boston and they got a sweetheart land deal.

Romney did have to soften his conservative stance on several issue to get elected in MA. I think he was all long more of a conservative than he could display as Governor of MA. So now even though he is revereting back to his actual roots it can very easily be construed as shifting or flip flopping.
In either case, the MA link will sink him which is too bad because he is the only candidate on either side that has run successful businesses, had employees, has been a CEO, has a very stable family life and is probably the best communicator.
