The Victor Valley Airshow Association told a local Minutemen chapter Wednesday morning that they cannot have a booth at the annual airshow Saturday after an immigrant rights activist threatened to stage a protest.

The airshow association acted quickly after receiving a protest threat from Hesperia activist Jennaya Dunlap from the national Immigrant Solidarity Network that same morning, Banks said.

America, sadly, is inhabited by more and more spineless cowards. I'd tell that 'activist' that if she showed up to protest, I'd have her fanny arrested.

Did the Victory Valley Airshow Association promote the dissolution of the Confederate Air Force too?

After all, The Commemorative Air Force is so appealing to all political organizations.

Gotta love our whimpy society. I guess democracy isn’t by the majority, or else this isn’t a democracy which I believe it isn’t.

activist Jennaya Dunlap from the national Immigrant Solidarity Network

I reckon that the Minutemen have no problem with legal immigration whatsoever, it's unchecked illegal immigration where the problem exists .... wonder if Jennaya (or the Airshow promoters) can tell the difference.

Hrummphhhhh .......

Is this the same Jennaya whose mother, Joy Marie Dunlap, recited this lovely anti-military poem.

“Hey Soldier, How Can You See Through the Barrel of a Gun?” and
“Define the Word Terrorist”, both by Joy Marie Dunlap.

I fear the day of living under a democracy;all it will take is convincing 50.000000000001% of the population that the other 49.9999999999999 should be stripped of their possessions ,freedom, or even life and it would be the “will of the people”!

Things are far worse than we thought, folks, if the above is true.

I wonder if any GOPers will throw a couple of signs together to protest this ill advised decision by the airshow. You know...like Al Queda, appeasement is considered weakness, and rightly so!

I just wrote them an email saying how disappointed I am that they were not allowing the Minute Men participate.

Sounds like a protest is in order in support of the Minute Men then. I think we should advise the Airshow Association What they have just created.

Check the “protestor” for citizenship, and we’ll see how that goes first. :’)

The activism is starting. The brazeness has begun.

Gotta draw the line somewhere. What would you suggest? Communism, where one person makes a decision for everyone else? That you should fear.

Ain’t it the truth! Some 10-to-1 illegal invader “activist” threatens a protest (i.e., gets all uppity and acts out), and every damn body stumbles overthemselves to see who will be the first to roll over, wet themselves, and pacify the “protestor.” If we’d done this 65 years ago with our enemies, we’d be speaking german and japanese today.

A republic tharecognizes basic rights of freedom,self-defense, and property , and further that it is impossible for everyone to be well informed on every subject ,and that only by some form of delegated authority can a reasonable governance be achieved.I believe some men tried to institutue such a republic once but it appears their descendants are falling prey to the demagogues.

True communism is actually a form of democracy. It is also not practical for normal human beings with all their innate flaws. You may have been thinking of the various dictatorships run by vicious thugs who convinced their people and the world to call thugocracy "communism".

Never heard of thugocracy but I certain have heard of communism. So did McCarthy and the Congress of that age.
