Well, shades of "homophobia"...
I admit it (and I’m a woman)—one thing the liberals are right about, the woman is the one with the choice. Bottom line, she decided whether her child will live or die (although I’m sure in some rare circumstances—an accident, coma, whatever where the woman isn’t able to choose and someone else makes the decision to abort to try to save her life). This applies to woman all over the world, not just in America.
Yes, but that wasn't my point. My point is YOU are the first, and I mean *absolute* first, woman I've seen on this forum admit responsibility for abortion belongs exclusively to women without any equivocation or mitigation involving men.
And there are mighty few FReepers who have been here longer than me.
Honestly...most aren't even embarrassed by it, let alone ashamed! They want to be treated as equal, independent, responsible, autonomous, voters, but they want to make sure they get treated like dependent children if they get pregnant, and they want to make damn sure the man is obligated by law to accept her decisions no matter what his views are in the matter.
In my house, we have a very simple rule: You don't get to run things if you're asking for help.
