Well, I am not about to say 9/11 was an inside job. However, there is no doubt in my mind our inteligence guys were on to them. I was off work that tuesday watching everything going on. Now, take our normal inept FBI, normaly takes them forever to figure anything out, but, hours after the attack they had located the bad guys car at logan, found their korans, the plane litterature and even had some of their names. Now, how often do they get something like that right, remember Richard Jewel??

You know what's interesting about these 9/11 conspiracy nuts is that in a new book "Sabotage" by Rowen Scarborough it is documented how left wing CIA employees worked against President Bush and the country. And some high ranking left wing CIA retirees made press statements to help bolster the conspiracy theories.

So maybe the whole thing is some kind of liberal ex-CIA propaganda campaign to gather up America's nuts and then sling them back in our face. Interesting book, anyway.

My wife Hoodlum91, and myself, gladly participated on the side of the Eagles today to counterprotest these morons.

Had a 19 year old girl today ask me “what’s so bad about communism anyway?”

I told her to spend 10 years in the real world and ask me again...but I’m not sure it will work.

Sorry I didn't see you today pod.

They are the same people over and over, nothing new.
Professors I have seen before, the old guard 60's and 70's crowd and the mush heads from colleges. Yup, nothing new.

Sometimes it is just fun to sit back and watch idiots.

Had a 19 year old girl today ask me “what’s so bad about communism anyway?”

That's why I keep printouts of the article The Killing Machine That Is Marxism at protests to hand out to moonbats. I've probably handed out at least 1,000 in the last few years.

I was handing them out at the GOE I Tucson along the moonbat's exit route back in March and one guy growled "no, I don't want that, I'm a Communist!" Turns out he was the Party Secretary of CPUSA AZ and the organizer of the anti-war protest. His big beef with me was that I said in my previous column the organizer for the anti-war protest was the District Leader of Arizona and he's only the Party Secretary. So I corrected that for him in the column and also called every talk radio show in town to explain the mistake. They all went something like this:

Radio Host: OK, we've got Wayne on the line, what's up, Wayne?

\/\/ayne: I just wanted to correct something, I had said the anti-war protest at the Air Show was organized by the District Leader of the Communist Party USA in Arizona and it wasn't him. It was the Party Secretary. He was pretty mad at the protest that I mis-identified his title. So let me make it clear: It was the Party Secretary of the Communist Party USA in Arizona that organized the anti-war protest.

Radio Host: OK, well, thanks...next caller....

The Navy has an institutional bias for avoiding any conflict that can’t be resolved from off shore.

The Army still has some 60,000 soldiers in Germany, 62 years after the end of WWII. This is in line with the Army occupation of southern states for many years after the end of the so-called Confederacy, the Army occupation and security missions in the old west, and the Army occupation and pacification of the Phillipines from 1898 to 1936.

So, by the Navy view, Eisenhower was not successful, being unable to withdraw from Germany (or Korea!).

One never knows who is right at the time. Of course if you suggest that the Navy should withdraw from Guantanamo...There will be blood in the waters.

Of course the 1993 WTC bombing had the urea nitrate stuffed with potassium cyanide shipped from Iraq.

Clinton administration instructions were to classify that, for fear that it would force him to respond, and he thought it would detract from his other initiatives. (gays in the military, socialized health care, ect)

It took them a few days to find the car, IIRC. Do you have a citation for that “hours” comment?

I've never heard or read that before. Do you have a research link?

Which reference I found at “Confederate Yankee”. I understand that Federation American Scientists and Wikipedia have similar references.

During Boot Camp in 1966, our whole platoon got put on pause for a week's worth of mess duty - and the hall was right next to Motivation's "area"....we'd watch those poor maggots day in and day out.

I was at MCRD San Diego Oct-Dec 1974. Plt 1114.

Then went to MCB 29 Palms for Comm-Elec school fro MOS 2841 (Ground Radio Repair).

I looked at your profile and I see that La Quinta is near Joshua Tree National Park - Not too far from 29 Palms.

Was thinking of going out there to visit 29 Palms some time.

Two articles from 9/12. They don’t talk about the cars but they do mention the hijackers identity.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/521253/posts and http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/521315/posts. But I do remember the MSM talking about finding their car. I was amazed and surprised how quick they were located.

Pyro, my brother, I just love your moonbat photo threads.

She just couldn't keep her mouth closed as well.

Yeah, I'd sure like to see her Bronze Star. I'm sure she has one, or she wouldn't say that sort of thing about Petraeus.../sarc

,I>There is a rumor that the Patraeus quote on that womens board was said by CENTCOMM commander Adm. Fallon

Well, I am presuming that's not true. However, if it is true, Admiral Fallon is welcome to come over To Freeport, IL and kiss my big, hairy white butt.

In 50 years when Petraeus is mentioned he may well be spoken of in the same breath as Patton. Somehow I doubt Admiral Fallon will ever be mentioned in the same breath as Nimitz or Halsey.

Most “veterans” one sees at protests are exactly what you said: Lefties who’ve gotten a BDU set and a boonie hat from the Army Navy store and are pretending. Foor some reason they always seem to have new gear with little or no rank insignia, whereas I took four complete BDUs, a dress uniform, two field jackets and a parka with me when I left the Air Force. Plus, I had a flight jacket I had bought surplus which had my rank and the patches for the squadrons, wings, numbered air forces and commands I had served in.
