UPDATE: A source tells TMZ that it's not Barry who's writing this song -- in fact, "View" producers pulled the plug on Manilow's performance when his people demanded that he appear on the show without Elisabeth. Manilow has in fact performed on the show twice before -- both last year -- when Hasselbeck's been co-hosting.
TMZ has learned that legendary singer Barry Manilow has pulled out of his scheduled appearance on "The View" tomorrow -- because he strongly disagrees with host Elisabeth Hasselbeck's conservative view! Paging Rosie O'Donnell!

Hackledhead, you made an idiotic comment based upon a complete lack of knowledge about Ms. Hasselbeck. You're definitely guilty of showing contempt prior to investigation. If you're going to make a derogatory comment about a woman based upon your erroneous suppositions, it might do you well to educate yourself just a little, it wouldn't have to be too taxing for you and it would have the side benefit of at least giving you the appearance of having a soupcon of intelligence.
Actually, Palm Springs is probably having one of their monthly “pride” parades...and he won’t want to miss that!
From Manilow’s fear of Elisabeth Hasselbeck I think it would be safe to infer that she is not a ‘fag hag’.
That was brutal. Most of them don’t seem to like it when someone disagrees with them. There’s obvious contempt for Elizabeth. I don’t see how she stands it every day.

Let’s review. I posted a comment that suggested Ms Hasselbecks sudden increase in breast size was artificial. You could have simply informed me that she was pregnant (as others did), but instead you became hysterical and insulting. In response to your over the top reaction I suggested that the cause was perhaps hormone related. More hysteria and derogatory comments followed. Since you state that you are post menopausal I will have to postulate an alternative hypothesis to explain your reaction. I don’t know if you should ask your 31 year old son for permission to post, but I am surprised to learn that someone was able to tolerate your presence long enough for procreation. Best wishes.
