Meyer has a good case for a lawsuit against the University of Florida.
There is a long article on FNC now that details this kid’s history of setting up and filming stunts, his intent to create and film the incident, his far different behavior when there were no cameras, and his statement to cops that “they were doing their jobs”.

If we are just arguing about whether he was pro-Kerry or not, that is a misunderstanding. I meant it was embarrassing to Kerry, which was good, but nonetheless I thought the cops acted appropriately. Kind of an “anything embarrassing to JF’inK is good”, but....” No question the kid is a libtard, but the mere fact of the incident, the Skull N Bones question, the use of the term BJ, and the impeachment issue were embarrassing to F’in, and lead me to believe the kid meant to embarrass him - a la Cindy Sheehan and Pelosi. I never thought he was a conservative heckler.
In my devious way, I would have loved to pull the same stunt on Kerry. I would go into some dialog about the Bohemian Grove and suggest that Kerry was videoed attending one of its ceremonies. It would be hilarious to see how he spun out of that question and get it on video.
I have often thought it would be good to get into an anti-war parade with a sign saying “Caution, drug sniffing dogs ahead” or dress up in a USSR Gimnasterka Jacket with a sign saying, “Communist Party for socialism in America.”
This story is going to get better. I just know it.

Was the kid arrested by real police or security guards? I saw them wear baseball caps.
I read the comments. One attorney is offering his services. This will get a life of its own. Attornies will be fighting to get their hands on this case. The smell of money will fill up flights into Gainsville.

Campus cops are real police, I believe. I know the ones at my university were highly trained and functioned like a real police establishment.
Apparently this kid is a known practical joker who likes to have his stunts caught on video. I suspect he was having us all on.
That sounds very plausible.
The guy’s leadership qualities are so profound that he had no inclination to stop the attack, BEFORE it escalated.
In fact, his first inclination was to revert to type and lie about what he saw, so as to avoid responsibility for his inaction.
Had to be put to ‘global press fallout test’ b4 Kerry could react.
