A sick old woman in a wheelchair was stun-gunned by police ten times over a period of three or four minutes until she died. One hit was sixteen seconds long. Another was twenty five seconds. Another one was thirteen seconds.

Not really. There was no sister, the woman was schizophrenic and made that up.

Apologies, I should have simply posted "Police said the woman was swinging the weapons at family members and police." Not sure how it being a brother, cousin, etc makes it any better.

The police indeed stated that she was in a wheel chair when they tazered her. As for weilding two steak knives and a hammer, I'm wondering how many arms this woman had?

I guess the police have 3 arms as well since they are armed with a gun, a baton, and a taser-whats up with this town-lots of 3 armed people.

As for her weight, she's fat, but 300 lbs? Can you guess her height and date of birth too from that picture?

Nope, yet some here expect police to know all these things before tasering.

I froze the video and counted the seconds she was electroshocked, as recorded on the police sheet. I couldn't see the entire sheet, but I counted at least 90 seconds. Where I couldn't make out the number, I just used two seconds. So in all probablility this woman was electroshocked for well over one minute and a half. I guess they were trying to bake her until she was well done.

I'll repeat, I'm not saying the officers did no wrong, I'm just saying that the idea that police simply went and tasered a "sick, elderly" person in a wheelchair is a bit misleading.

So either step back away from her or put a sheet over her.

I’d like to think that a couple of children could have solved this one without killing her.

This is still a homicide by the police.

Were there stairs available for them to use? Fact is, this lady brought the police to her house with her combative behavior and arming herself with weapons trying to cause injury or death to her sister. This would not have occurred, if they would not have initiated the scenario. Her intent was to hurt or kill somoneone.

Just an ill attempt at humor. Seriously, this is sad and no one wins. There is a lot of force being used un seemily helpless people these days, LE will take a beating...

You do not know it is a homicide. How would you like to judge you so quickly? Be careful or you can be accused of slandering these officers. You are pulling a Murtha without knowing the facts. You were not there. Fact is this lady brought the police to her home because she was intentionally armed trying to cause injury or death to others within the home.

I hope that after reading this story everyone takes a look at the NAFTA Agreement. I do believe that it can be enforced by our military if need be. Who does the military report to? The President. Would you like this power in Hillary’s hands? This incident totally mishandled by the police and accompanied by reporter spin and somewhat misleading headlines is kids play compared to what could happen. I am sure they will send the entire police force to school to learn “diversity and tolerance”.

"I guess the police have 3 arms as well since they are armed with a gun, a baton, and a taser-whats up with this town-lots of 3 armed people."

It said she was 'weilding' these three weapons. Now, to answer your question with another question, how does a police officer "weild" a baton, a gun and a taser at the same time?

As I already said, this woman was tasered for well over a minute and a half during a four minute period. I cannot even imagine the torture she endured. You could kill a bull with that much juice. Worse yet, I cannot imagine the need to do this to her, a group of cops electro-shocking her again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again .......often holding the taser to her body for long periods of time....until she falls dead.

She was their human pit roast. I'm surprised they didn't stick an apple in her mouth after they roasted her to death. I have little doubt that this gang of thugs will recieve but a wrist slap for the murder, so it's refreshing to know that there is eternal Justice.

Any unnatural death is termed a homicide. The only question is will it be deemed justifiable, negligent, etc....

I suggest that you look up the word homicide.

Stunned to death?

I’ll be my beeber that any civil jury will find departmental negligence.

This really isn’t much different than bopping a person on the head with a truncheon to subdue him...and repeating until the person is subdued to death!

Or are the cops gonna use the insanity plea? You know, the definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over but expecting different results. Didn’t they ‘get it’ after the fourth or fifth stun gun zap?

A stun gun is not a “Taser”

Correct. Tasers fires darts into the victim, while stun gun must make contact. I'm assuming from the duration of the shocks that they were not firing taser darts into her. I might be wrong, though.

was attempting to assault her sister-which led to the 9-11 call for help

You've got it backwards. The deceased made the 911 call asking for help. Some help. She was a schizophrenic but after they killed her she wasn't mentally ill anymore. I guess they cured her.

After all, the woman WAS armed with two knives and a hammer, and was actively swinging them at anyone who came near her.

Easily avoided by not coming near her for a while. She wasn't a threat to the public. She was wheelchair bound. Maybe call her psychiatrist or something. Call a relative or someone she knows to talk to her for a while. The deceased was schizophrenic. She was mentally ill and actually believed that she would get help by calling 911.

Another case of "Call 911 and die."

Cordially,

I'm just saying that the idea that police simply went and tasered a "sick, elderly" person in a wheelchair is a bit misleading.

I see your point and I agree that I could have written it better. I was not intentionally being misleading. By sick I meant mentally ill. By elderly I meant to exclude youth, by female I meant to exclude male, and by wheelchair I meant to exclude ambulatory.

Cordially,

I don't think they were trying to kill her. Negligent homicide, maybe.
