Put off the exam until the baby is weaned. And has graduated from high school.

I was noticing that baby looks really undernourished. I never had plump babies, but they were always healthy and healthy looking.

While I'm sympathetic....I've seen what my wife needs to do with pumping, and the general inconvenience and discomfort.... There are ways around this. Waiting on taking the test, for one. Working with a female examiner and pumping during the test, for two. Shortening the time spent taking the test, for three. And that's just off the top of my head. Accomodations can be made, I'm sure.
Further, I'm not entirely sure that I'd want a doctor that would a) put herself into a position like this b) Not be able to figure a way out of it and c) Sue to get "special accomodations".

quite frankly, I’m surprised that the courts didn’t side with her....especially in Mass. where liberal craziness seems to be the order of the day.

Currier has already received special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act for dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, including being granted permission to take the test over two days instead of one.Missed that piece. Hope that I never need treatment from her.

The BreastFeeding Act of 2007 or something.
Next thing you know, we will have "The Toilet Seat Act - HR879" or whatever.

Now, now - I am sure if she doesn't win the case she will act perfectly reasonable to the folks at Harvard afterwards.

That is what baby bottles and formula are for. The kid will definitely survive during her important exam.
This woman needs to grow up before her kid does.

If she needs this much extra help, remind me to crawl off the table if she walks into my examination room.

Another publicity hungry lib. Remember the good ole days when women did not even go to Harvard? I wonder how many of the Harvard faculty are now yearning for those good ole days?
Probably none.

Exactly. It is simple. But she is full of entitlement and wants to make the media.

Currier, of Brookline, has finished a joint M.D.-Ph.D. program at Harvard University while having two babies in two years. She has been offered a residency in clinical pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital in November, but cannot accept it unless she passes the test. Her goal is a career in medical research.
Her goal should be in raising her children.
