I”m sure the troops are happy to see the cheerleaders and watch their performances... I don’t know if other teams have had their cheerleaders over to visit the troops but the Dallas cheerleaders have been before.

Just awesome that these girls are willing to do this. It’s gotta just do wonders for some of these guys’ morale.

“Baghdad isnt safe for anyone! You cant even walk on the streets! Theres death around every corner!” I kinda doubt the are going to be wandering the streets of Baghdad. Can you imagine the reaction of the locals to six blond haired blue eyed cheerleaders walking around? It would be pandemonium.

Howdy, chickadee. How goes the battle? It is pretty much quiet, peaceful and calm here. Has been for about a month now. Oh, there's been the odd incident here and there, but the daily barrage we were getting before just isn't happening. Nowhere near that. We go days on end not hearing a thing. Even the sirens we hear around the city are fewer and much farther between.
It's rather amazing.

Across the river from the Green Zone. On a FOB right in the middle of town.
The Green Zone has been very quiet as well and that was certainly not the case this past spring and summer.
It's almost boring around here. I daresay that if I heard an explosion, I just might even flinch a little. LOL

I have a boss who was a CO in Korea and hes a Steelers fan (hates the Cowboys), but he loves the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders because he said when they would visit the troops they would go out of their way and slow dance with the soldiers, and pose for pictures, and make the soldiers feel really appreciated.
He said moral was much better after the young ladies left.

When Bob Hope introduced Racquel Welch during his USO tour in Vietnam, he said, I just want to remind you guys what youre fighting for. I was 19 and it made perfect sense to me!! I wasn't in Nam, and I'm darn near 50, but it STILL makes perfect sense to me.
Hubba, Hubba... what a woman.

I guess the Cowgirls wanted to see some real men, rather than what they're faced with every Sunday :-) Yes, I'm a 'skins fan and that was very nice of the girls to visit.
The Redskinettes visited Afghanistan back in March. I think a lot of the NFL cheerleaders are making goodwill tours lately.
