The CIA should hire her for $50K per year, and give her an office from which she could do the same analysis.

Or at least give her a nice fast computer and a T1 line.

My point is that the feds should not be getting "scooped" by the Pajama Brigade re the WOT.

Hell, they not only should hire her and dozens of other more qualified freepers but fire most of the useless apparatchiks skulking about Langley.

Better yet, the $50 K, and a high speed security protecteed, internet connection, so that she can
remain at home with her family without fear of being backtraced.

I’m all for reducing the federal pay rate of all intel folks to whatever this old lady makes. If she can do it, on whatever budget she has, so can they.

No way. The NSA 'No Such Agency' in a place down the street. Looking just like she thinks she looks now. Getting a paycheck from some irrelevent company that gets paid to pay her.

Yeah, that would be great. She could be silenced and buried in bureaucratic red tape. That’s exactly what should be done! /sarc

I beg to differ. As long as “Laura” is not employed by the fools in the CIA/NSA/FBI, then they have no way to tell her what to do and (more alarmingly) what to *not* do. She’s going to go where her common sense and language skills take her, untrammeled by the political correctness that pervades our security agencies now.

The CIA has proven themselves to be worse than useless since 9/11. And before 9/11 too. Matter of fact, since the Church hearings in the early 70’s, the CIA hasn’t been good for much at all except frittering away their black budget.

Given a choice between a single person like Laura or a collection of Ivy-league pinheads on the government dole like the CIA, I’ll take Laura.

lol... I doubt she would take it. I expect she makes more than twice that amount now, an she can work in her pajamas, no commute, no traffic, no office politics, working her own hours. She has it good now, why would she give that up for an office and bureaucratic nonsense.

Arabic is a hard language. Thanks to Bill Clinton we do not have many people around that understand the language in the CIA. I would love to do what she does.
