Rather has the biggest bloated ego quite similar to that of John (IWIVN) Kerry. He is a persona non gratia in the news business and a joke there also. Dan Rather and his producer were burned by forgeries of such low quality they would not have fooled a reporter on a high school newspaper. “Broadcast journalism” is an oxymoron. People like Rather, Katie Couric and Shepherd Smith are not journalists. They are actors—chosen for their voices, looks, and personality—who read scripts and portray journalists in front of a camera.
