Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to arrive in New York to address the United Nations
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is traveling to New York to address the United Nations’ General Assembly. He was scheduled to appear Monday at a question-and-answer session with Columbia faculty and students as part of the school’s World Leaders Forum.
City Council speaker Christine Quinn called Thursday for the university to rescind the invitation, saying “the idea of Ahmadinejad as an honored guest anywhere in our city is offensive to all New Yorkers.”

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to visit the site of the World Trade Center in New York to pay homage to the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001.
According to a source in the president’s office, the US authorities are expected to make arrangements for the president to pay tribute to the American nation and the innocent victims of the event.
The Iranian president is scheduled to leave for New York on Sunday to attend the general assembly of the United Nations.

I may be wrong but I understand that the only US government agency with the absolute legal authority to limit this scum’s activity while on US soil is the State Department. It apparently can do nothing, because of treaty obligations, to prevent him from coming here to speak at the UN. The State Department however can AND SHOULD enforce this itinerary:

I’m still holding out hope that this is being done as a ruse to get him here so we can place him under arrest. I know I know, fat chance, but this is what I must do to keep myself from going mad!
While the hand & foot tricks might be a good idea, remember this guy is Persian. There may be cultural differences.
I think the main similarities with Arabs & Persians is Islam and they hate Jews.
