Isn’t it shameful that in a country of 300 million souls we have to promote celebrities like a notoriously scandalous president’s wife as a political leader?

The Mrs William Jefferson Clinton Sunday Thread!

Think she’ll be asked some tough questions?

Bwahahahahaha!!!!!

Please check out Phsstpok’s EXCELLENT Sunday Talk Show PRE-Thread. It’s a great way to hear analysis on why the DBM picks the guests, what they’ll probably discuss, and other pertinent facts. Also, check out his blog!

It’d be cool if we had another Clinton blow up on Wallace’s show but I’m not holding my breath.

Anyone want to bet that they will ask 1 tough question of Hillary?

So todays’ shows will be nothing but an illegal contribution in kind to the Hillary campaign.

Even by the admittedly low standards of the Drive Bys this is pathetic

CNN Mrs. Clinton; Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt; French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner; Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.; former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski; former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

Exactly. If she were a Republican she will be trashed with Hsu-cide scandals, & Betray-Us slash. Funny, they went after Putin for alleged murder of his critic in London. Here, nobody cares why Hsu on suicide-mission or someone trying to kill him.

Kerry was saying in 2004 that World leaders (secretly) supporting him, though he could not name any. Well, History repeats itself.

Bill Clinton regularly touts his wife's bid for the White House by telling crowds that leaders around the globe are pulling for Hillary Clinton's election in 2008. Yet none of the leaders the former President cited will back him up, the Daily News has found.

Aides to the Clintons refused to provide a full list of the global leaders allegedly supporting Hillary Clinton.

Like someone to challenge her on the character assassination the Daily Kosies are pulling on General Petraus. Claiming he is wearing medals he is not entitled too.

It is a total lie as anyone who spends 5 minutes research knows. I think since Hilly ran over the DLC to suck up to the Kosie crowd she should be asked to defend their gutter slime actions.

Good morning, one and all!

Wow, what a list. All Hillary, All the Time! Only a sadomasochist could sit through this one without running out of the room or turning off the TV in disgust, which I probably will be doing a few times this morning.

And then there’s the “opposition:” Newt “Hillary has an 80-20 chance of winning” Gingrich, Alan “Iraq was a war for oil, then it wasn’t” Greenspan, and, um... Michael Leavitt? Well, like it or not, Leavitt’s probably the only one in the bunch that’ll be willing and able to stand up against Hillarycare II. (Leavitt, BTW, is the Health and Human Services secretary, appointed back in 2004 to replace Tommy Thompson.)

It’s amazing how the news media gets to flout equal time rules and give free air to Hillary and Biden with only Huckabee thus far getting anything to respond. Of course, the way they get around it is by claiming they’re “bona fide news interviews.” We all know they’re not. I think one of the most shrewd things someone like Hunter or Tancredo would be able to do was to demand equal time.

To quote Gingrich, chances of that happening are about 80-20. Perhaps a little better on FNS but I still doubt it.

Hsu will get a pass, I’m sure, and Hillarycare II— actually with LE bringing on Leavitt it may get addressed but I doubt it will be challenged all that much. The plan is just so absurd and unAmerican— so much to the point that Edwards is now claiming credit for it.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
Kim Il Jung
Sheik Hassan Nasrallah
Sheikh Ahmed Yassin
Hugo Chavez
Fidel Castro
The entire Poltiburo of the People’s Republic of China

Well, like it or not, Leavitt’s probably the only one in the bunch that’ll be willing and able to stand up against Hillarycare II.

President Bush used his Saturday Radio Address yesterday, which is totally ignored by the non-partisan /s media, to ask Congress to send him a reauthorization of the SCHIP program, that he can sign before it expires on Sept 30.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1900696/posts

THE PRESIDENT: Good morning.

In just eight days, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program — or “SCHIP” — is set to expire. This important program helps children whose families cannot afford private health insurance, but who do not qualify for Medicaid, to get the coverage they need. I strongly supported SCHIP as a governor, and have strongly supported it as President. My 2008 budget proposed to increase SCHIP funding by $5 billion over five years, a 20 percent increase over current funding.

Instead of working with my Administration to enact this funding increase for children’s health, Democrats in Congress have decided to pass a bill they know will be vetoed. One of their leaders has even said such a veto would be a “political victory.” As if this weren’t irresponsible enough, Congress is waiting until the SCHIP program is just about to expire before passing a final bill. In other words, Members of Congress are risking health coverage for poor children purely to make a political point.

The proposal congressional leaders are pushing would raise taxes on working Americans and would raise spending by $35 to $50 billion. Their proposal would result in taking a program meant to help poor children and turning it into one that covers children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 a year. And their proposal would move millions of children who now have private health insurance into government-run health care. Our goal should be to move children who have no health insurance to private coverage — not to move children who already have private health insurance to government coverage.

-—snip-—

I wonder if Senator Clinton will be asked about this.

I am certain most world leaders will support or at least negotiate with her once and if she elected as they would with any American President.

In this regard what is being said is a half truth not a full lie it is what is being implied that is the lie that the other candidates would not be treated similarly if they won.

The question is what has prompted her to come out and do this media circus. It is not about unveiling her sham of a health care plan.

This is pure calculation from the “smartest woman in the world.” There must be a reason behind it.

The only thing that I can think of is two words - Fred Thompson. They must not like what they see in some of their internals.

Yeah, that just about nails it. I mean, I’m all for debates and exposure, but what the heck are the lower-tier candidates thinking?! They’re getting no exposure from this and they’re virtually guaranteed to be entering a hostile environment. Yet the Dems won’t debate on Fox News.

I won’t be watching.

MSM may not care but there are somethings to Cheer for, this week:

###### Defeated: 'habeas corpus' for Guantanamo terrorists.

###### Lost: Liberal suit against Caterplillar.

###### Maryland's highest court upholds state law defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

###### R.I.P. D.C. voting rights bill.

###### 2d Circuit Upholds Denial of Federal Funding to Yale Law School for Violating Solomon Amendment. (barring military recruiters). Yale Law School now surrenders.

###### Moveon -> Code-pink.

###### A glutton for punishment.

###### Democrat Disarray.
