The photos of the dead soldier being dragged through the streets was not too “graphic to show”. Wait, let me retract that.

Time Magazine saw fit to airbrush his exposed genitalia. It offended some of their sensibilities.

Many of us are probably thinking the same thing. They didn’t show more because it’d be Un-PC to make black youths look too thuggish, or too savage. Doesn’t fit the template and Jesse and Al might launch another protest march against the furtherance of stereotypes.

But it sure didn’t bother them to show dead soldiers in Vietnam, and they’d love to show every flag-draped casket that arrives at Dover AFB from Iraq. Of course, their motivation was very different in those cases.

Yeah, the weazels at Time want to show only intact genitalia!

Other media didn’t. Several left in the part where the Somali drove his rifle barrel into the dead soldiers rectum and smiled at the photographer.
