In spite of what the beltway pundits think, Fred Thompson is connecting with people and if that doesn’t SCARE THE CRAP out of the left, it damn well should, because he’s going to be the next President!
Incidentally, I enjoyed the article, as the insults were far better than most of the Romney campaign garbage we hear from the beltway losers. This guy at least has a little bit of talent stringing them together. ‘Human snooze button’ had me laughing out loud.
All these left wing rants about Fred just prove that he can and will win. They see it, they know it and they FEAR it!
He should have followed that up with "But both are a dang sight harder than bein' a journalist..."
Nobody takes this much time, to write this much of a hatchet-piece, on a candidate that doesn’t sincerely scare them to death.

I'm for Hunter, but Thompson is a good second choice. I've read his essays, mostly here at FR, and Taibi obviously hasn't. Thompson is a good man.
If the ridiculous part about the homeless couple, “Dot and Jamie”, is true, I REALLY wish they had asked Fred Thompson that question. Don’t know about Dot and Jamie, but I’m sure that I would have loved his answer. LOL.
I can explain it for the lefties. Fred is the pro-America candidate. There are other pro-America candidates, but Fred is the only one with the slightest chance of winning.
