Workers at the state-of-the-art factory were shocked when they were given a tour of the building and told a cubicle had been fitted for the use of Muslim employees. The staff said they are baffled at the decision because they are not aware of any Islamic workers at the base in Cambuslang, near Glasgow. Last night, management at the bakery said they had received several requests from all over the country for the exclusive facility. All their new buildings will now be fitted with the specialised toilet regardless of the number of Muslims in the workforce. But staff at the new £15million plant labelled the decision "political correctness gone mad". One said: We were being given a guided tour of the new factory before moving there when they told us that they had a toilet for use only by Muslims. "I couldnt believe, everybody was stunned because we dont know of any Muslims who are working here. I dont think anybody is really angry about it, but there just doesnt seem to be any need for it. This sort of things is just political correctness gone mad." Another worker said: "The toilet just looks like a ceramic hole in the ground. I dont think it will be getting much use and I dont see why we couldnt all just use the same toilet anyway. "This sort of thing creates divisions between the workers." The Islamic faith has particular rules regarding personal hygiene when going to the toilet, including squatting, washing feet, remaining silent and limited use of toilet paper. However, these rules are not compulsory to all Muslims and many believe they are outdated since, in modern times, toilets have become clean tiled areas. Alan Greenshields, general manager for Greggs in Scotland, said the move was a pre-emptive measure in the companys attempts to cater for all religions. He said: "In many of our bakeries across the country, we have had requests for toilet facilities that cater for different religions. In order to future-proof our facilities we try to incorporate them where possible and have therefore introduced in our new bakery at Cambuslang. Greggs have spent £15million moving their production base to Cambuslang from nearby Rutherglen. Last month, it was revealed that bosses at two Scottish NHS boards had banned staff from eating at their desks to avoid offending Muslims during Ramadan. NHS Greater Glasgow and NHS Lothian also recommended that vending machines and lunch trolleys be removed from hospitals, offices and clinics during the 30-day fasting period.
If I ever see one of these things I will take a leak on the seat.
Planning ahead?
No need for toilet paper. They’ll use their left hand!

ALLAH HELPYOU IF YOU HAVE KNEE OR HIP PROBLEMS
That aint no muslim toilet-more like an Italian toilet-truly I say
Undoubtedly. I hope it's aligned correctly, relative to Mecca.
These holes-in-the-ground are mileposts along the road of the de-evolution of western civilization.
Seperate but equal?
THAT’s a TOILET? Looks like a bathtub with a large drain. What do they do.....recline?
That’s a muslim footbath. They’re supposed to wash their feet before prayers.
Color me puzzled. I don't know of many other religions than Islam where they can't use the toilet everyone else uses.
If I ever come across a footbath...I will pee in it!!!
I saw something like that in Italy. It was horrid but the only option.
the last part of the story is equally pitiful.
I thought the whole point of fasting was to resist temptation? Does the NHS also remove food during Lent? Does the NHS only offer fish on Fridays to everyone because there might be a few traditional Catholics who choose not to eat meat on Fridays?
this type of toilet is also popular in many parts of Asia. China and Japan have them for sure. Didn’t see them in Korea, but I wasn’t really looking.
Is it OK to take a Shiite?
I guess the reason they gotta wash their feet is because they urinate on their heels when they squat.
“The staff said they are baffled at the decision because they are not aware of any Islamic workers at the base in Cambuslang, near Glasgow.”
No Islamic workers are employed there? I ask you, is this not prima facie evidence that this facility discriminates against Muslims? I demand an investigation.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
My religion demands that I have a toilet with a mink seat cover and diamond fixtures...
/s...
If it is so important to have a Muslim toilet then why don’t they live in the Middle East?
It just seems to me that choosing to live in a country that is not ruled by Islamic law (Sharia) would be more of a concern than having a bowel movement.
Appears there’s a movement afoot.
Did they include a separate one for the trannies?
This will post with all the paragraphs intact. It makes for a lot easier reading.
This is just another facet of European appeasement to their muslim terrorist hosts.
Here is analogy worth considering. Christians are taught to say grace before each meal, it is a 2,000 year old tradition. The greatest example of this important tradition is when Our Lord Jesus Christ always praised God after breaking the bread, but before eating it; (see Mathew 26:26, - John 6:11, etc). In fact, the holy Scriptures actually instruct us to say 'grace' with meals:
"When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God---" (Deuteronomy 8:10)
"And you shall eat in plenty, and shall be filled: and you shall praise the name of the Lord your God," (Joel 2:26).
"He that eateth, eateth to the Lord: for he giveth thanks to God" (Romans 14:6).
So it is abundently clear that Christians need to say grace, (praise God), at meals. Yet, if a representative of Christians, for example the Pope, or Billy Graham, or other such leader demanded on our behalf that businesses, airports and schools allow Christians to pray grace at meals, would any of them respond positively? Would any of them begin printing place mats or napkins with Christian 'grace' prayers on them to accomodate Christians the way the subject business installed Muslim toilets? I doubt it, because Christians are not threatening to them, but Muslims are. We are living in times of ever-increasing Christian persecution, and forcing Islam upon us is a part of that persecution.
The worst part of all this is the fact that mosques are being erected all over the US and Europe, and shari-a law is being practiced in airports and businesses. Mohammed is standing where Christ the King once stood, because Western governments have pushed Our Lord Jesus into the closet as they bow their PC heads to the laws of the bloody pervert, Mohammed.
Does it lock from the outside?
In a bakery? Wonderful.
lol!! but what a disgusting “visual” I get.
What do women (if they can bake with a burqa) at the bakery use?
I can go along with some of this but silence?
If I don't have my "Brown Growler" every morning things are not good for the rest of the day.
Good one.
Those ceramic holes in the floor weren't just in Italy, BTW. I seem ro recall one in Germany in the early 60s.
TMI
OK! Now workers wont be forced to share toilet facilities with Muslims! Therell be People Only toilets and Muslim Only toilets - like the old days with Whites Only and Blacks Only. Maybe next they will get their own section at lunch counters, buses, trains, theaters ...
Limited use of toilet paper, eh? More like, none.
“If I ever see one of these things I will take a leak on the seat.”
They don’t have seats. They are literally holes in the floor. When I was stationed in Asia Minor with the USAF we called them bombsites.
Was it installed by a German company?
No. Being used to pissing in the sand, they are deplorable shots.
>P> Western toilet.
I've often wondered about the comparative health effects of the two methods. Seems to me it results in stronger legs, not sure about when the person gets old and infirm.
it already looks like it has been abused by someone who got a little crazy at 10 cent wing nite at the tavern
They have rules about how much toilet paper to use? Sheesh....Islam IS a cult.
