OK. What the heck are they talking about? What’s a peacemaking subdivision?
Is that anything like Kookcinich’s department of peace?

The “Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth” has a nicer ring than “UkrPolLithbat,” but I’m not really the Madison Avenue-type.

I was wondering when someone was going to mention the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. I bet few people here have heard of it and know it was once one of the more powerful countries in Europe.

Ask lizol (the op) to place you on the E. Europe ping list. The topic comes-up now and then, but usually when I remind lizol that it takes a Lithuanian male to find an attractive Polish female (not that there aren't any attractive Lithuanian females, but the Poles have so many MORE).

I actually went out once with a Polish grad student when I was an undergrad.

She wasn’t that hot. :)

Lithuanian girls are prettier than Polish girls, but Polish girls generally have, um, larger tracts of land. And they're pretty.

I speak from experience.
