SAN FRANCISCO --Federal agents said Thursday they shut down a factory that made marijuana-laced barbecue sauce, chocolate-covered pretzels and other "enhanced" snacks intended for medical users of the drug.

The Drug Enforcement Administration said it arrested three people Wednesday and was looking for a fourth who operated Oakland-based Tainted Inc.

Federal authorities contend that marijuana is an illegal drug, no matter how it used or who uses it, and they don't honor the state laws.

Wow, more tax dollars wasted to protect us from a naturally growing plant. Yippee.

I am not a member of any party. I lean toward Washington’s opinion of partisanship.

It is unconstitutional to directly tax individuals by the federal government. It is unconstitutional to apply an excise tax as a direct tax against an individual.

Not hearing a case by the Supreme Court, using those defenses, doesn’t change the illegal nature of using the color of law to repress and deny a right, or rights, to individuals.

Your apparent mockery of my comments gives the impression that you support such misuses of government and the constitution. I’m disappointed by that ends-justify-the-means appearance of support for repression.

“Remember, Freedom is something we want for ourselves, not the other guy.”

Your cynicism is unhelpful, at best. Why even reply if you are so comfortable with such repression?

“Want proof? Go look up a tobacco thread.”

It is the reason that ‘democratic’ agreement should be mocked as ‘mob rule’ when it adopts repression of individuals for their rightful choices. The tyranny of the majority is what the Founding Fathers hoped to end/moderate with our republican system.

Instead, you address me mockingly, even patronizingly, and dismiss my concerns in support of the mob; which you appear to give the power to do so by simply seizing it, a fait accompli, unstoppable ...

Sad.

“Yes, it’s all a Big Conspiracy by The Man to harsh your buzz and keep you down so The People like, can’t recognize that Everything is One, man. Far out.”

I think I must be at the Daily Kos! Mockery in response to constitutional concerns in regards to states’ rights!?!

Or, are you down here from Kos or some other Leftist/Democratic site, and looking to troll your insults here, for a laugh and to mock some conservatives?

If you are, then of course there will be no reason forthcoming from your keyboard. And, I probably won’t be seeing your nick around much with this kind of commentary you think pertinent and appropriate.

I think I must be at the Daily Kos!

Totally, dude. The Feds put some kind of secret chemical in your bud to fool you into thinking DailyKos was FR, man.

Mockery in response to constitutional concerns in regards to states’ rights!?!

Perhaps you confused FR with the League Of The South website.

Or, are you down here from Kos or some other Leftist/Democratic site, and looking to troll your insults here, for a laugh and to mock some conservatives?

Righteous, captain! I totally fooled people on this site for, like, nine years, in a long-term plan to undermine a core conservative principle that has animated the GOP platform for years: namely the right of scam artists to sell dope.

The hypocrisy with the governments is this. The states are in the BOOZE business which has killed more people, ruined more marriages and health than marijuana.

The only reason mary jane is illegal is because they can not TAX it. Period. Like moonshine.

Hey have a STATE monopoly on booze in NH-don't know about other states......and big Kennedy money came in from bootlegging.

Why, I understand a presidental candidate or two is married into Big Booze money.

The hypocracy isn't suprising just the lengths that gubmint goes to rationalize it.

Medicine. Yeah................

You won't see me taking it for a headache.

But I can't see where the costs to have cops round folks up, courts try them and jailers guard them can be justified by any measure.

Just another excuse the Public Safety Industry to grow bigger at the expense of our liberty.

Wideawake sneers, "Totally, dude. The Feds put some kind of secret chemical in your bud to fool you into thinking DailyKos was FR, man."

I know that Leftist/Democratics like you always attempt to turn the subject into the target they stalk to mock and revile. You are sociopaths who only care about your ability to demean and dehumanize your target(s), and are actually incapable of reasonable discussion.

"Perhaps you confused FR with the League Of The South website."

Yes, you Leftist/Democratics like to mock the South, now that conservative Democratics have realized just how unpatriotic and socialistic you subversives are. That allows you another 'evil' icon to compare the persons you attack and libel on the internet. You sadists are sick, know that?

"Righteous, captain! I totally fooled people on this site for, like, nine years, in a longterm plan to undermine a core conservative principle that has animated the GOP platform for years: namely the right of scam artists to sell dope."

I'm surprised a stalker like you has managed to last that length of time, here. Someone like you who seeks schadenfreude from mocking a serious expression of constitutional concern. You must have a great deal of disrespect for yourself, inside. I'm sorry for you.
