US strengthens sanctions on Burma

The US has banned dozens of members of Burma's military government from obtaining US travel visas because of ongoing violence against protesters. A state department spokesman said more officials would be added to the list if they were judged responsible for human rights abuses.

Reports from Burma say military may have succeeded in limiting the scale of the protests in the main city, Rangoon.

I would rather hear that the U.S. Navy was conducting air strikes on the residences and offices of dozens of members of the Burmese military . That's what it is going to take . Not talk or sanctions

I believe the country is known as Myanmar, and its capital known as Yangon.

If I’m wrong, I’ll admit it. Otherwise, is it a good idea to get our news from “journalists” who don’t know what’s going on?
