Child Porn Seized from 'Art' Show Comes From anti-Christian Elton John's Private Collection

By John-Henry Westen

LONDON, UK, September 26, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Popular homosexual musician Elton John, who regularly promotes homosexuality and has said he would ban Christianity, may be in hot water as police have seized one of his pieces of "art" on suspicion of breaching child pornography laws.  According to media reports police seized the photographic image from an art gallery in Tyneside.

Apart from promoting homosexuality, John has expressed his contempt for Christianity. In an August 2006 interview Elton John said, "I think religion has always tried to turn hatred towards gay people. Religion promotes the hatred and spite against gays. But there are so many Christian people I know who are gay and love their religion . . ."

John added that he would ban religion, speaking in context about Christianity.  "From my point of view I would ban religion completely, even though there are some wonderful things about it. I love the idea of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the beautiful stories about it, which I loved in Sunday school and I collected all the little stickers and put them in my book. But the reality is that organised religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate."

I love the idea of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the beautiful stories about it, which I loved in Sunday school and I collected all the little stickers and put them in my book.

People say things like this are usually the same people who are eager to tell you that they " love the sermon on the Mount." And they betray that they know nothing of the teachings of Jesus in general or of the sermon on the Mount in particular.

Funny, but I knew that was Nathan Bedford Forest the moment I saw it, though I don’t know why.

Apart from having an ancestor who fought for the Confederacy, I know little of the history of its soldiers - yet I know that face. I probably saw it somewhere and it just stuck.

Such balanced coverage! How do they do it?

The photo in question has been exhibited in a number of major cities (Houston, London, Madrid, New York, Portugal, Warsaw and Zurich) and auctioned twice in recent years at Sotheby's in New York. It's obviously been treated as an artistic work in the past. The article also leaves out the photo itself involves two young girls, not the domain of Elton John's homosexual interests.

What’s so sad now is the “in your face” attitude of these degenerates. I know some gays that are not like this at all. The ones I know are nice, respectful, cheerful and have an aire of humility about them. The Elton John’s of the gay community are nothing but arrogant prix who deserve no less than to be extremely shunned at every turn.

Uh, no. You can't have it both ways. Yes, there are any number who are being deceived by various mainstream Christian religions lately. But that doesn't make them "Christian"; i.e. God's Children. Nor does it make those who are deceiving them God's Children.

But the reality is that organised religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate."

Oh, but it does work; for those who truly follow God's Word. As for the hateful lemmings, I'd say that describes Elton John as much as anyone. And Christianity IS compassionate; God's grace IS compassionate to those who follow him. As for others? Well, God will decide.

Mr. John is WAY off the mark on this. But whod'a thunk it :)

“” But the reality is that < i> organised < /i> religion doesn’t seem to work ...”

No, it doesn’t. That’s why Jesus made sure Christianity isn’t a religion. He never taught that we should have congregations, steeple houses or sacraments.

The only religion God ever recognized was the Law of Moses, and he tore that up the afternoon Christ died on the cross.

Religions are human constructs to get people to think they’re rightly related to their maker, while gaining power over those people and making a financial profit.

Christianity is going directly to Father God in our prayer closets, one-on-one, through Jesus Christ who made the Way to do that.

I observe a big difference between homosexual men and the Gay Rights movement. The former is as you say, decent human beings in their outward comportment, while the Gay Rights movement is as sinister as Joe Stalin himself.

Well, I certainly can. It is on its face a ridiculously broad generalization.

Of course organized religion works, works often, and works well. Organized religion provides a vehicle to teach people about God and salvation, and a place to join together and encourage one another.

But even an atheist would have to acknowledge that churches have provided everything from a community meeting place to services for the poor and weak, to hospitals, to private schools...

I'm not sure what it is that you want organized religion to do, and organized religion taken broadly is far from perfect. But to say it "doesn't work" is wrong.

So Elton John wants to ban Christianity - from Episcopalians to the snake handling cults. What a hate-filled bigot. And after he bans Christianity, maybe then Judaism also, though perhaps not Muslims.

"But the reality is that organised religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate."

Aside from the child porn issue, Elton John makes an interesting point.

I'm Catholic and when I separated from my ex and later divorced, the people who I had thought were my friends but who proved to be less than loving or loyal were some of my extremely religious friends.

Several of them turned on me, criticized me using the Catholic faith as their reason to do so and also judged me without knowing the facts, which were none of their business anyway.

If it is deemed child pornography, greet Elton John at the gates the next time he comes to America and arrest the ‘obscenely wealthy’ pervert.

It seems Scotland Yard pulled the same photo out of an exhibition six years ago, but the Crown Prosecution Service decided it wasn't obscene enough.
The strange case of Sir Elton's 'obscene' photo (first time around)
From the above article:
The picture in question, called "Klara and Edda Belly-Dancing", shows a partly clothed girl dancing above a naked girl who is kneeling with her legs apart and towards the camera and her back arched to the floor. The girls are no more than seven years old. We have decided against showing it.
I'd bet AUSA Roy Atchison would be interested.

Apparently Elton keeps showing it so the piece will get pulled and he and the photo/artist can get media attention. (As if he doesn’t have enough already)

The photo is of a child 5 or 6, naked, legs apart, gaping vagina the centerpiece of the picture as she stares at the crotch of another girl, standing over her, legs apart, wearing nothing but a sheer piece of cloth as underwear.

It’s child porn.
