from Tom Taylor's radio-info.com newsletter:
"Howie Carr – I know, it’s been 3-4 days since we last wrote about Howie’s travails – is asking Boston judge Allan van Gestel to re-consider the ruling that’s keeping him from working where he wants to: Greater Media’s WTKK. The Boston Herald says Carr’s legal team filed an emergency motion for reconsideration of his ruling that Entercom’s WRKO has a valid claim on Carr’s services, based on the “right to match” provision in his expiring contract.

"Interestingly – Entercom filed its own emergency motion, seeking to prohibit Greater Media from talking with Carr or his reps, or even making public statements about the sticky situation. Entercom market manager Julie Kahn tells the court there’s “no doubt that Entercom will lose substantial…money” if Carr takes his act to WTKK.

10 years ago: The Jeffrey Curley murder. Had been talked
about a lot on Howie’s show and elsewhere.
