LA County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has announced that a new report shows illegal aliens and their families collected over $35 million in welfare and food stamp allocations in July. In the report, illegals are said to have collected nearly $20 million in welfare assistance for July 2007 and an additional $15 million in monthly food stamp allocations for an estimated annual cost of $440 million. "Illegal immigration continues to have a devastating impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers," said Antonovich. "In addition to $220 million for public safety and $400 million for healthcare, the $440 million in welfare allocations bring the total cost to County taxpayers that exceeds $1 billion a year - this does NOT include the skyrocketing cost of education."

That is a lot of money!
Mexico is one of the most corrupt nations on earth, so Bush and the rest of the Greater North American Union diehards shouldn’t have been surprised at the result of broken borders. It’s business as usual for Mexicans now that they’re squatting in the US. And why not? It’s all they know and positive reinforcement is a powerful thing. The fact that American taxpayers (who pay the bills), are outraged doesn’t seem to matter.
how many have to die in accidents at specific intersections before they put a light up?
that seems to be the mind set of our legislation and political powers
cynically speaking, they are packing their bank accounts with lobbyist moneys until they can’t get away with it anymore
“Its business as usual for Mexicans now that theyre squatting in the US.”
Squatters in every sense of the word. The trails of sh!t they leave wherever they go is easy to follow.
The headline should say, “In Los Angeles, in the month of July alone”. It’s not $35,000,000 nationwide per year, as a one might easily infer.
California "belongs" to Mexico.
Their racists groups say so.
Yes, but think of all the money these illegals save farmers and lawn maintainence companies. Restaurant dish washers and chicken and pork processers.
I remember as part of a project for my Government class I created a big board where I broke down all the differant ways illegal aliens sucked money out of the government, and at the bottom was the huge grand total. Quite alot of gasps when fellow students saw how much money went to people who weren’t supposed to be here in the first place.
Well, the only proper response to this is...
...to award $5,000 to “anchor babies” at birth.
Above URL gives real time data on illegal aliens!
All I can say is good for LA. They wanted a sancuary city and they got one. Now they need to STFU and dig into those pockets.
In LA County alone.
You need to ask the moderator to add this to the end of your title:
[In LA County alone!]
Anybody awake yet?
I didn’t think so.
Politicians, media filth and business oligarchs will push this as far as they can until the wheels come off the train, then they will come up with “compassionate” solutions that soak real citizens with even heavier costs to provide for their heavily dependent imported constituency.
Until those three groups feel the heat - and I mean real fear for their own personal well being and not just careers - nothing will change.
Just one opinion from a nativist restrictionist American CITIZEN.

Thanks for the link. I have been looking for a site like this.
What proves to me that the pro-illegal politicians are just pandering to ethnocentric pressure groups and business lobbyists (U.S. Chamber of Commerce, et al.) who love those low wages with no benefits is the fact that they’re willfully ignoring the facts. For example, the scholarly and comprehensive studies of Robert Rector of Heritage clearly spell out the cultural and financial ruin that we face with the illegal invasion. His work was even quoted by Jeff Sessions in the Senate; he appeared on Lou Dobbs and several other TV stations. They knew the facts but chose to IGNORE them! A classic example of the country be damned - just vote for me! That’s the sort of politics that’s destroying our country.
If Hillary reads a poll that says that will give her more votes, she’ll do just that.
I’ve read that 25% of the inmates in CA prisons are illegals. Add to that the escalating social welfare costs, the bankrupt school districts, the insolvent hospitals and the huge human and economic costs brought to us by the drug cartel - and at the present rate there won’t be that much left to destroy in a few years.
That’s 1 billion in just one county. Multiply that by however many counties there are in the US. I think I’ll pick my own lettuce.
Me too. By the way, I heard some agricultural economists on Lou Dobbs who said the price of lettuce might increase by 20 cents per head without illegal farm workers. Even worse, as long as agribusiness can hire cheap laborers they’ll never make the capital investment necessary to automate harvesting - which, in the long term, would make all fruits and vegetables even LESS expensive for us than they are now!
