I don't understand why they feel like they should cut corners, and those who are americans but born in mexico feel like the illegal migrants should not take the same steps as migrants from other countries...who often have to wait 'years'!! ??

To achieve citizenship after taking the proper steps, makes it more meaningful, exciting, celebratory and most of all, those who do are so grateful. It makes me sick to see all those who are from other countries (such as Greece..I know of a family who took the proper steps)who worked hard to attain their new citizenship, IGNORED......I want to know what their opinions are wrt:the so called protests.

You know plenty of people who support it but none who will admit to it.

They are the ones who do business with known employers of illegals just to save a buck. They are the ones who agree with Fred Thompson when he claims that it's "unrealistic" to deport the millions who are here and when he further claims that those millions will somehow deport themselves back to a country that HAS NO JOBS OR FREE SOCIAL SERVICES as soon as we impose enough penalties on their American employers here. There are plenty of people right here in this forum who are just as eager as Bush is to reward illegal immigration, but not one of them will admit it.
