Who has the "Stop Rudy" ping list? (vanity)

Lost the ability to download cookies from Free Republic for quite some time. I'm back now.

I'd like to reconnect with the Stop Rudy list so I can ping 'em to combat the Rudophiles who are infiltrating FR again.

Anyone got the ping list?

Ditto; Ditto; and Ditto.

If Rudy some how lies his way into the nomination, this staunch Republican, and his family, and his friends who have always voted Republican will be voting Third-party.

You don’t compromise on as many issues as it would take to vote for Rudy and maintain your self-respect.

I'll be voting 3rd party

And what exactly do you hope to accomplish by doing that? Besides electing Hillary?

What is the point in stopping her if Rudy is the GOP nominee?

Ruth Bader Ginsberg THREE MORE TIMES

OR

Antonin Scalia or Samuel Alito or John Roberts.

If one is going to sit in that office they will do so without my vote.

Fair enough...this is your right. I see you are a one issue voter.

I don't approve of abortion but I also don't approve raising taxes, socialism or the fact that the jihadist moslems all over the world are actively planning and trying to take over my country and kill us all....so I will be DAMNED sure to cast my vote in the primary and in the general election in '08. and I'll be certain to cast it for the GOP nominee (except if it is Ron Paul because he's just insane and is clueless about the real threats we face from the dar-al-islam)...

Best of luck to you elizabetty...

"It strange that so many FReepers are willing to give Hillary the WhiteHouse, just for spite.....under the pretence that Hillary is no worse........"

Cast your slurs elsewhere.

Nobody wants for Hillary to win, however, it is more important to not destroy everything that conservatives have fought for by nominating/electing a liberal Republican.

I will not knowingly have a part in destroying the Republican party and all it stands for by voting for a Democrat in a Cheap Republican Suit.

Go peddle your nonsense elsewhere!

As I have said in other threads I’d rather fight her from opposition than support a closet Democrat as a Republican president. If we nominate a Rudy or any other liberal RINO it won’t just be the next election we lose it will be the next 2 or 3. It is time to take back the Republican Party or move to start a new one or assimilate into an existing one like the Constitution Party.

No Rudy. FDT, Hunter, or even Romney.

"It strange that so many FReepers are willing to give Hillary the WhiteHouse, just for spite..."

There's your mistake. It isn't for spite - those who won't vote for Rudy actually believe they have the conservative movement's best interest at heart. If I vote for Rudy, I am voting for a guy who is anti-gun, pro-choice, pro-illegal, pro-gay agenda, etc.

You may see it as "beating Hillary", but the RNC and other liberal Republicans will see it as acceptance of liberal values, and will continue to push the party leftward. Rudy as president will help move the country leftward, as well - with no chance for repair until 2016.

the attitude: Rudy is no better than Hillary is nowhere near accurate.

I wrote no slur, just pointed out an obvious truth.........nothing stings worse than the truth....(I should know)

Bingo. I'm wondering if these people have any values at all.

-—”What is the point in stopping her if Rudy is the GOP nominee?

This herring has never worked at FR, and never will. One only needs to look at Rudy911’s actual record of judicial appointments and his personal world-view to know, beyond all doubt, that we will not get a Scalia, Alito, or Roberts from Rudy911.

We will get a Stevens or Kennedy at best, and that is not worth worshiping at Rudy911’s altar by sacrificing or party and nearly everything we believe in to appease his lust for power.

You can appease the Liberals working to take over the GOP, I will not. The political wilderness is still better than the political graveyard for Conservatives.

I hope you will work as hard to stop Hillary if he becomes the nominee...

Why bother? According to Rooty himself when he was campaigning against her of Kongress, "My positions are mostly the same as Mrs Clinton's"

you would be just as happy with Hillary in the WhiteHouse.....or you would do what you could to keep her at bay.......

I understand your argument - but your remedy is not justified by the risk

I agree with you. But I don't think Rudy is acceptable leadership for this country. Maybe if he were conservative on 30-50% of the issues, but I can't enable a liberal (from either party).

"Ruth Bader Ginsberg THREE MORE TIMES "

This has been refuted so many times on FreeRepublic that either you have not been paying attention or you are very disingenuous.

Rudy included Ruth Bader Ginsburg in statements made earlier this year as the type of jurist he would appoint to the Supreme Court.

I would be equally disgusted with Rudy or Hillary as president, and really wouldn't care since I wouldn't be represented either way. (1 or 2 issues, taxes and tough terror talk, isn't representation).

I'm voting FOR someone, not AGAINST them.

If the GOP wants to live up to the moniker “stupid party” and they want Hillary to win, they will manipulate Rooty in as the candidate.

If they want to win. They will push a candidate that has credentials that the whole party can get behind. He does not have to be perfect, but he cannot be a liberal.

"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." Sir Winston Churchill

And this is what many conservatives intend - to never give in to the liberal wing of the Republican party.

I can understand your support of your candidate, but as long as someone is not being rude, and until this board says in big letters that all people who lean towards Rudy are banned, I will continue to post here.

Unless it has been tongue and cheek, I have never been rude to another candidates supporters here. I have knowingly never, ever lied about a candidate, or his supporters. I have also contributed on many other non candidate threads here, in which I think I have made contributions, so what is the the point of pointing me, and others out?

I have nothing but respect for this board, and it's founder, so if he wishes that I don't post here he will let me know. I do honestly wonder what will become of this board in a few months if Rudy does become the nominee.

Will it go back to it's roots (which is what brought me here in the first place years ago) as an anti - Clinton forum, or will it let it's political influence fade as it becomes just another anti - Rudy site? Something to think about.

I have to leave for a while, so I am not ignoring any one if someone wants to respond. I will reply when I get back.
